i think your so called "gay" friends are secretly straight men so they can grab your boobs

I don't see why not. I actually have more female friends than male.

Theres 2 types of friends.. 1 People you see, like and can eventually be potential candiates.. Then there is the other "friend" its how girls and guys let the opposite sex down without truly rejecting them.

Men and women Can NEVER be just friends.. Feelings will always arise. Trust me.

I don't think I can adequately answer this question. I think there are some who will tend to agree with you and say that men and women can never be friends.

In my experience, there are generally two types of people who say so: those who, whether consciously aware of it or not, are bitter in one way or another as a result of past frustrations with this exact issue and have come to the conclusion that men and women just aren't compatible as mere friends, at the very least not as close friends. Then there are those who have been married for years and have a situation in which either the wife or husband having close friends of the opposite sex just would not work for their marriage. A married man can have female acquaintances, but can't have female buddies in the same way that he has male buddies (some say); he can be "friends" with the girl at the office but things have gone too far if they go on a camping trip together, whereas he can go with a male friend alone and there would be nothing weird or suspicious about that.

But there are those who contradict those views a bit, having male-female friendships, even close ones, that are strictly platonic; there are always exceptions to the rule. Given that fact, one cannot say that women and men cannot be friends, as there are plenty of counterexamples even in this thread to disprove that.

However, I tend to hold the view that it's complicated, an answer that is both yes and no. It's true that men and women can be "just friends," but that's not true for everyone and every relationship, some friends are special, and male-female friendships are almost always different from male-male and female-female friendships, especially when marriages of either or both parties and sexual orientation are brought into consideration.

And then what about male-female friendships who aren't even peers lol? I'm close friends with the wife of my friend Dilley, a woman old enough to be my mother. We're definitely always going to be just friends.

of course yes they can.
those who said no means they are attracted to all types of the opposite gender: fat,too skinny, white, black, old, ugly, too stupid etc which is impossible in my opinion
you are attracted to only a few types

^^^That's a really good point too. Even without taking age into consideration you're not going to be attracted to everyone of the opposite sex, no matter what.

I think so. I have male friends who I am not attracted to in any way, and they have never shown any interest in me aside from just being friends so I'd say so from my own experience.

Of course they can, i have plenty of guy friends as well as girl friends. And no, not all of my guy friends are gay, only one of them is, and if i didnt have a boyfriend i would probably date them, so they arent all ugly or unattractive.
