So I'm drawing my own manga and now I'm having a dilemma. Which way should it be oriented?

or more generally, do you think manga drawn by non asians should be written the western left to right or the asian right to left?

Do whatever feels the most comfortable to you.

I started out drawing left to right because people told me to, but it never felt right to me. Things didn't flow properly. So I switched to what I felt looked right and felt natural to me, helps that I've been reading manga for a long while, it was only then that I really started to enjoy myself and my work didn't feel forced.

Remember to have fun and don't let others rule your decisions.

I agree with Shinigami_Shimai. You will get better results if you simply draw it the way it feels most comfortable to you. Your readers will adjust to your manga's orientation. I have read so much manga that sometimes I try to read western comics right-to-left, but then quickly adjust and read normally. Shouldn't be a problem!

If you are writing in English and aiming at an English reading audience use left to right IMO.
It feels more natural to the language.
