I always signal and drive so that other people don't hate me. For instance, I won't go into the express lane and go 65 MPH. I don't tailgate. I usually won't go into the carpool lane when I'm alone. I stop at stop signs. I don't cut people off unless I NEED to. I won't stay in an adjacent lane until the very last second when I need to exit; I switch into the appropriate lane at least half a mile before I need to exit. I LOOK before I attempt to switch lanes.

I usually go fast when there are no cops around, but I try not to exceed 80 on the freeway and 50 on local roads. I'll only pull unsafe maneuvers when there aren't any other cars around (U-turns in the middle of the road, drifting turns, etc.)

I'm a california driver. I never completely stop at stop signs, I yell at everyone in my way and if they aren't going as fast as I am, I am a dick if you are on your phone regardless if I'm on mine, and road rage is just something I was born with.

Oh ho ho! Good question!!! Me... I drive fast when I find it acceptable to do so... I'm extremely cautious while driving... whether im going faster, at, or below the speed limit. I watch other people drive and try to leave as many options for me to get out of the way in case something happens... like 4 lane traffic.. I don't like being boxed in between two cars... so ill go fast to open up the lanes beside me... if I can't do that... I'll slow down to open up the lanes beside me. I'll also keep my eye on certain suspicious vehicles, and observe what they do... If you swerved once, my eyes are on you. If I'm passing a big truck, i try to do it quickly as to not be beside a truck in his blind spot.

If I'm drunk or high... my caution goes up ten fold.

**EDIT** I'm extremely conscientious to other people while I'm driving. Meaning... If I'm in a spot where someones trying to get by me.... I'll speed up to match their speed or get over.

well... I only have my L... so I guess I am cautious so far... but I do like to go around 70km/hr in a 50km/hr road.
I'm bad, I know... especially since I still don't know how to park between two real cars.

If I ever begin driving, I'll be the cautious and hopefully non-violent driver. Although, I always wanted to throw food at people if they be stupid on the road, like my grandfather did.

I once thew an empty pizza box out of a friend's truck at the car behind us because our other friend, driving the car, was being stupid and driving too close. There wasn't anyone else on the road with us.

For me personally though, I try to drive pretty safe. I follow the speed limits and will occasionally drive five over on the freeway. I use my turn signal. If I didn't try to drive safely, I would have most likely gotten into a crash by now because there are so many ignorant people on the road where I live. When I see people not following the rules of the road, I say they got their license out of a cracker jack box and are a joke. They shouldn't be driving if they aren't going to follow the rules and be a safe driver.

Haha, I have a Twin Turbo Z and a Altima SE-R but I dont use them as an excuse to disobey traffic laws. That being said yes I do break the rules but only when no one is around and the only person I can harm is myself...

I'm a good driver. I learned from the best--Need For Speed. lol I take risks, I go 5-10 miles over the speed limit, I always wear my seat-belt because otherwise I feel naked, and I'm good with the pedestrians. But on the highway, I drive like an old lady! So I respect the law most of the time. I never have gotten a ticket or have been pulled over for any other reason. That's because I'm very careful with what I do.

Being I do a little racing, I save the crazy, aggressive stuff for when racing, but keep it cool on the street.

I still have my Mo. CDL Class A with Haz-Mat, People-hauling (Class B does this also) validation which is good for 18-wheelers but I'm not certified for pulling joints (2 semi- trailers, not mj). In my SUV I drive similar to a big rig in the sense that I live in the right lane of a divided road rather than center aka passing lane like everyone else. I keep an adequate distance between myself and the vehicles in front so I can slow down without becoming collateral damage in a multi-car mess. But now that I'm old and cranky I tend to avoid metropolitan areas like they were the bubonic plague and stay out in no damn where when vacationing.

Over time I have driven most types 18-wheelers except tankers and cattle rigs across the US and Canada. I've driven the large tour buses all over the Midwest, Southwest, Pacific Northwest, certain Canadian provinces. I liked the bus job better because the cargo usually could walk on and off, suitcases don't weigh as much as hideabeds or upright grand pianos (and do I have stories about being a HHG mover > 10 yrs), plus meals and lodging overnight were complimentary 80% of the time OTR. I would've stayed in the stagecoach business longer but the '80's after deregulation wasn't very stable for privately run transit so I did something else.

Most drivers are fairly intelligent and accidents are few....??....probably really lucky instead. When college is back in session here it's best to drive very aware because life comes at ya fast.
