Valkyria Chronicles is still the best game on ps3 for me next to MGS4.

I also LOVED Demon's souls and Dark souls. very deep immersive games.

That's a very tough question, but I personally for many reasons choose "Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots".

I'm getting pirates warriors also! But my favorite was ninja storm 2...because in generations everyone now spams the air rush and ground rushes + they spam the basic attack and the sub-jutsu escapes eveything now not just basic attacks....now the air rush added with the old gameplay and the removal of sum characters spam traits such as deidara and NUNS 3 would be great but I see they're following generations to a T for it...ugh

As far as hardcore RPGs I've yet to find anything that blew my socks off (unless you're into Elder Scrolls / Fallout).

I am surprised no one mentioned Dragon Age: Origins. It is my favorite RPG of this generation. It has a ton of lore (It is the game with the second most amount of text and dialog ever made, so there is A LOT of story to read and listen too)

I liked it so much I ended up buying it for the PC and the PS3.

DA:2 improved the combat and the graphics, but with it having a development cycle of less than a year (it actually took less than 12 months to make the game from the ground up) it was much shorter and lacked story as well as only allowing you to travel across one city instead of a country. And it wasn't even that big of a city either so quests got extremely repetitive as many quests took place in the same areas, over and over and over again. By the halfway point of the game you no longer needed to look at the map to know where to go for a new quest.

Unless you really want to continue the character stories from DA:O, I suggest skipping DA:2 and wait for DA:3 (Which should look awesome since it is going to use the Battlefield 3 Frostbite graphics engine).

Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning is in the number two spot (RIP ) followed by The Elder Scrolls series.

If you enjoy simulation racing, GT5 is a must have, but only if you can afford to get a decent wheel and you are a car nut. This game will not be fun if you do not enjoy driving in the real world. The game isn't worth it if you are planning on using the sixaxis. I dropped as many hours into GT5 as I have in DA:O and Skyrim, combined. (I am in the process of taking every single car in the game around the Nurburgring to set at least one clean hot lap.)

If you are looking for great games that you can get for cheap, check out Valkyria Chronicles (My Favorite Strategy game), Just Cause 2 (Better than GTA), Batman Arkham Asylum (My favorite action game, haven't played Arkham City yet), and the Assasin's Creed series (You get the first game free if you buy AC2, although it plays like crap so I recommend getting a copy for the PC).

Wanted to let you know that Ubisoft is about to release the Ezio Trilogy for Assassin's Creed. You will get three games(AC2, Brotherhood, and Revelations), and dlc, for $40. Although they haven't said if AC1 is still include in Revelations. (I said AC2 in my previous post, but I was mistaken. AC1 was included with Revelations) Although I still recommend getting it for the PC if you can as AC1 becomes close to unplayable near the end of the main story. (Imagine how bad Oblivion was on the PS3 if you ever played that)

EA has also announced the Mass Effect Trilogy where all three games are going to be released on one disc for the PS3. If you never had a chance to play the first Mass Effect game because it never came out for the PS3, now is your chance. This will be the first time Mass Effect is available on the PS3.

the best PS3 game is Skyrim.
If you love adventure, I always reccommend Uncharted, Arkham Asylum and City
Shooter-RPG, Borderlands 1 & 2
Puzzles, Portal 2

Portal 2 got me into buying my own PS3.
