My question is how many of us have watched Anime where the Male role is played by someone who always shy's away from romantic moments that make us fans quite perturbed, i have recently thought up something that might be reasonable to describe why this happens and here it is!

My guess is that due to the fact that most Anime is geared towards male audience's they like to have a male doing the "Funky" stuff to the girls, my guess is that most Anime where the guys are shy in that sense is that in the manga of whatever anime this happens in, the Male role was played by a girl and that they changed it to soot ratings and viewer mindset, sound reasonable?

Or i could be all wrong and they just do this irritate us or make us laugh i am not sure this is pure guess work on my part, i would enjoy hearing others views and opinions on this matter.

I eagerly await comments!!!

I thought it was because that's how your average Japanese male is. To me, they don't seem as assertive about these things as say American people. Or maybe I see it that way because of anime? o.0

You just described nearly all anime with a romance aspect :p

I've always assumed it's because an assertive male would ruin the plot of 99% of all Romantic comedies OR dramas by the end of episode 1, and harem shows doubly so.

Remember kids: apostrophes demarcate possession or contraction of two or more words!
A helpful hint is to think of it this way "the apostrophe is just to save time--the apostrophe takes the place of unwritten letters".

In the case of contractions such as:
You'd (you had) You'd better hurry up and read this sentence!
I'm (I am) I'm. <-- a complete sentence with subject and predicate!
He'll (he will) He'll quickly read this sentence.
Notice that the apostrophe is taking the place of the letters (ha), (a), and (wi) respectively.

In a case of possession such as
The girl's
it's helpful to think of the apostrophe as representing the short word 'of'.
Think of it as saying rather than 'the girl's' something along the lines of 'the x of the girl'

Have a great day!

in B Gata H Kei the girl is the pervert and the guy is the one being pursued so that's one anime where the guy isn't chasing after the girl
