"It is." Sylvie responded. She hadn't paid much attention to him nor to the other girl who came by to say hello.

He smiled and asked " Mind if I borrow it? When you're done of course" A voice came over the radio on his uniform " Ah...seems i'll have to take my leave" He got up, bowed, took her hand, and gently kissed it " It truly was a pleasure" Bruno got up and walked out of the cafe to head for the Fortress

Elise stopped at that cafe she smelled a while back and sat outside. She ordered tea and a muffin, then opened her book and read while she waited. Still very aware of everything around her.

Obviously a suspicious person wearing a hoodie with a guitar case on his back sat at a table nearby in the cafe. His hands were mated with dirt and blood. He picke up the tea cup and sipped lightly, mindful of the people around him. He was a rebel in the enemies territory.

Elise noticed immediately and was disgusted and appalled. When the waiter came back with her tea and muffin she stopped him before he left and made him bend down. She whispered in his ear as she glanced at the rebel, "That man over there, he's a rebel. Don't panic, just alert the authorities." Then she sipped her tea as if nothing happened, the waiter was obviously disgruntled and hurried back inside.

He was so tired. Tired of these people. Their looks toward him. To his people. They caused this war. We were only fighting back. They murdered his people, burned down his town and destroyed everything he loved. He sipped his tea again, already eyeing the waiter and the girl that had called him. He was already on gaurd. His hand was in his pocket and his face was covered. He was ready to kill a lot of people.

Elise had a bad feeling about this one, she decided not to stick around. After a bite and one more sip of her tea she left some money on the table and then grabbed her bags and left for the direction she came in. But she could see ahead that construction was now being done and couldn't walk that way. She stopped and swallowed her fear then turned to go the other way, passing him, but confidently, as if no problem were to arise as two men of the city's guard appeared out of the cafe.

He looked to the guards. Guess his suspicions were correct. He smiled, hand still in his pocket. When they came up to him, he sipped his tea, lips only visible. He gently placed his cup down and looked to them with a kind smile."May I help you officers?"

One of the men cleared his throat and said, "Yes." Then nodded at Elise and said, "Miss, is this the man you think is a rebel? These accusations are not to be taken lightly." She sighed, of course she had to stop right before passing the rebels chair. Then she painted on a smile as she faced the officer, "Yes, there is blood and dirt on his hands...and his persona reeks with suspicion." She glanced/glared down at him once again and then back to the officer speaking, she didn't like being so close to someone so dangerous...these men were idiots for making her! Now the other officer came much closer to the rebel, gun in hand. The officer speaking to her said, "I see...sir, will you show us your hands?" It was clearly more of a demand than a question. The few people that were in the cafe simply sat and watched the drama unfold.

He sighed and showed them his hands."Really now, it's just dirt and blood....I got into a brawl with some hooligan that attacked me for no reason. I believe I have a right to defend myself."He frowned, face still covered. His heart was beating normally and he wasn't nervous at all. He knew exactly what would happen all in a sequence depending on how the officer would respond."And I just got here not too long ago. I was going to wash my hands, but sadly, the restroom was quite busy." He eyed the gun in the officers hand. Such a fool. Pointing such a tiny piece at him. Made him sick to his stomach.

Elise rolled her eyes under her lashes, hoping the officers weren't going to fall for such lies. The officer speaking nodded at the one with the gun out, he put it away and then walked back inside. The other officer sat down in front of the man and got out a pad and pen, "Please describe the hooligan to me then sir, and the attack. This very well could have been a rebel attack." He looked to Elise, "Thank you for your good citizenship but you're no longer needed miss." Elise gritted her teeth together and then slammed her hand on the table, back completely turned to the rebel, if she was thinking clearly and not so angry she wouldn't have done that, "Do you know who I am?" The officer blinked, she continued, "I am a council-men's daughter ok? I know a rebel when I see one. Now...arrest him and I'm sure you'll be awarded for making this city a much safer place." She smiled, realizing beneath it she may have said too much for the rebels ears. The officer didn't want to take action on that mere note, but he looked as if he was prepared to anyways as he started to stand and get out his cuffs.

A councilmans daughter.....she really did screw up by saying that. He had already decided to end her life by just mentioning him to the authorities. Now he could actually do something to her. Maybe torture for a bit. Get some info. And then make her suffer for his friends and family. He wasn't entirely bad, he was actually kind sometimes. It's just these freaking loyalists and their attitudes. He yawned, stretch a for a second, sipped his tea some more and got up. He picked up the butter knife and stuck it in the policemans throat."Sorry, my hand slipped."

Elise's mouth dropped as blood squirted onto her face from the man's throat, she held up her hands and staggered back as she screamed and wiped it from her face. Her breathing was heavy, as she looked from the rebel to the police officer to the screaming people evacuating the cafe. Time to go. She dropped her bags and kicked off her heels as she took off in a sprint down the road. The other police officer came running outside now as the one dropped to the floor, choking on his own blood. This one was fearful and simply started shooting at the rebel, however due to his shaking his aim was poor.

He easily evade the bullets, since the mans aim was total shit. He pulled out his own pistol, a .45, and blew the mans head off with ease."Loyalists scum.....now where did that uptight bitch go? Im gonna make her pay for ruining my time off...."He said as he watched the strawberry blonde run down the road. Perfect. He loved it when they ran. He grabbed his guitar case and began running after her, obviously having more physical ability than most. She wasn't too far away, and he was seriously pissed. She had better prepare herself for a world of hurt when he caught her.

Think, think! She looked around frantically, taking in everything, anything that could help her. He wasn't far behind, she knew. Then something caught her eye, a trolley, it turning onto the street she was running on. It'd do for now. It nearly ran over her foot as it turned, she paced after it, it'd start to pick up speed again, there's no way she'd be able to catch it. She reached for it, the bar handle on the outside, she was too far. But she took a chance, with her eyes closed she turned that last step into a run and jump and caught it, and held onto it for dear life as she caught her breath.
