Think, think! She looked around frantically, taking in everything, anything that could help her. He wasn't far behind, she knew. Then something caught her eye, a trolley, it turning onto the street she was running on. It'd do for now. It nearly ran over her foot as it turned, she paced after it, it'd start to pick up speed again, there's no way she'd be able to catch it. She reached for it, the bar handle on the outside, she was too far. But she took a chance, with her eyes closed she turned that last step into a run and jump and caught it, and held onto it for dear life as she caught her breath.

He eyed her down as she gained a bit of distance from him. With all the chaos going on, he saw a motorbike left unattended to. He smiled and hopped on. He rode through the crowd with simple ease and was next to her damned trolly in no time. He say her hanging on the bar. He sped past her and went to the conductor. He pulled out his pistol, blew his brains out and then hopped on. The people aboard panicked. "Get the fuck down unless you wanna end up like the conductor!"He yelled as he made his way to the girl that screwed him over."Help the girl in the back up and I'll let you all escape with your lives intact."

Nobody was coming to his help, they were all too afraid. Children were crying, women were screaming, they all cowered down and huddled as if they're arms would protect them from a bullet. The trolly was still moving, that's all Elise cared about. She leaned over the railing, still holding onto the bar and saw that they weren't far from the bridge. Just a little bit longer...she peeked through the back window, but he was here, she wouldn't last. She saw that there was a ladder on the side and decided to climb up, that would buy her some time till she got to the bridge. She kept light on her feet and low to the roof to keep from falling off, she wasn't sure how'd she jump off when the time came.

He sighed, grabbed a child who's mother screamed for him back. He held him up with one hand, telling the lady that he would kill him if she touched him at all or tried anything funny. He cleared his throat, the child now wailing with fear. The child pissed himself, and Luke avoided it the liquid. "Councilmans daughter, I'm damn sure you can hear me. If you don't get in this trolly, I will be forced to end this child's life. If you do comply, this child will be safe and sound, along with the rest of the people on this trolly. Come here now, and this will all be over."He smiled, peering out the window, seeing that they were getting near the bridge. He could also see cop cars. He'd have to stop it soon.

She stopped in her tracks, sure she didn't want an innocent child to die but how did she know giving herself up would guarantee he didn't? And if she spoke back it'd give away her location and he'd shoot her...no, if he wanted her dead he could've done that a long time ago. They were coming to the bridge now, this was her chance. If she jumped into the channel she'd live but if she let that kid die for her, her and her family's image would be forever tarnished along with their overall wonderful life. She moved to the other side of the trolly so there was street beside her, not water. She climbed down, "You can have me on the street!" This way if he does kill the kid no one can say it was her fault, and maybe she can still escape by running across the bridge...She closed her eyes tight and braced herself for the impact of asphalt as she jumped off, amazed there was hardly any traffic but still hoped for the best.

He gently placed the child in the mothers arms before jumping out after her. He did a tuck in roll, since he was used to this kind of crap already, which wasn't good. He wouldn't have ended the child's life anyway, even if she had jumped off. Killing children is a line he would never cross, despite having seen loyalists do it themselves. He quickly got to his feet and reached for her shoulder since she was within grabbing distance, gun in hand, ready to take her somewhere private so he could interrogate her for info that could save many people's lives. His people. "You idiot, you could have killed us both!"

She got a few scrapes and bruises but nothing serious, she still yelped in pain of the impact though. The trolly kept on going and no other cars were coming by, that was because both end of the bridge were now surrounded by cops. She smiled weakly at him as held up her hands in means of surrender to him, she had been caught, "The only one dying here is you, you're surrounded. Give up." She staggered back though her legs were fine, maybe she could lure them to the side of the bridge so she could make that jump for the water.

Surrounded by cops in enemy territory. Talk about a clever way of escaping. But then again, she forgot one last thing. He grabbed her arms and wrapped them with his belt to bind them tightly. He then placed his gun at her temple and looked to the surround police. He looked to the girl."Well played girl....but I was once a soldier here. I know everything about this place. I know that the councilman is panicking now for his daughter. I know that many are watching.....I'd love to make a public execution, but sadly, I need you to live for a bit longer. He grabbed the back of her shirt/dress(Whatever she was wearing.) and looked to the police."Give me a car and don't follow me. She is my hostage and I will not hesitate to blow her brains out. Tell your snipers to lower their guns, or I really will shoot."He said in a cold tone of voice. He wasn't afraid of death. He actually became friends with him from being so familiar to it.

Elise gasped as he tied her and then grunted with disgust has his he pulled at her clothing, "You won't get away with this." Her face was stone. The police men discussed amongst themselves and over the phone briefly and then one came over the intercom, "Hold your fire, I repeat, hold your fire." A car then drove up to them and the officer driving stepped out and set the keys on the ground, then backed away. On one end of the bridge, not the one they came from, the cops cleared the way for passage. Elise's heart pounded in her chest despite what her calm voice would lead him to believe, "It won't be that easy. They will follow us. And they will get me back." She had confidence in her father, maybe too much.

He smiled, picking up the keys and heading to the car. He put her in the passenger seat, but before he did, he placed a brick of C4 on her car door. "Just in case they try anything funny....."He said as he got into the drivers seat and began driving past the police. He saved to them as he started speeding up. He looked to her and sighed."Really now, me or you wouldn't be in this situation of you hadn't snitched. Now I'm gonna have to punish ya...."He frowned, not really liking this kind of thing. She was just a kid, but a kid that had fucked him over. This was just punishment and he'd probably recieve worse had he been caught by the authorities.

She looked away from him with her nose in the air, "I've done nothing wrong. You heard the man," she smiled proudly, "'Good citizenship'. I was simply doing my part as a member of this peaceful city...protecting it from people like YOU." She glared at him with a glance as she said this. But she was also looking out the mirrors...no one was following.

"Doing your part as a member of this peaceful city. How nice. To be apart of a city I mean. To be proud of your people. Did you know I had a small town I used to live in too?"He replied back quietly, showing no emotion on the visible half of his lower face."Well, your peaceful city and it's people burned it down to the ground and murdered all it's people. You saw how I held that child with a gun pointed to his head? I would have never killed him. Im not monsters like you. You monsters who call us monsters.....you abandoned your own people."He said angrily."By the time I'm done with you, you'll beg for death."He lied, not really wanting more unncessary blood on his hands.

Speaking of blood she looked a mess from when he had first laid eyes on her, going from primped and pampered to bloody and dirty. She turned sharply to him now and yelled, "I've never killed a soul! Much less drawn blood!" She let out a heavy breath as she sat back again, fussing in the bond, "Are you really going to punish someone who's innocent? What lesson does that teach? Nothing. That's the problem with you rebels.." Her voice became a mumble as she looked out the window, wondering where they were going, "You have no clue what you're doing.."

"Trust me girl, I know very well what I'm doing. You are the pampered, spoiled brat here. I am the rebel. I have seen blood. I know how to handle these situations all to well. Now tell me your name, and I might just take it easy on you. I'll also tell you mine."He said quietly, eyes remaining on the road. "And I don't kill innocent little girls. Your not innocent. You've put my life in jeopardy. Your no longer a princess."He chuckled and took off his hood, revealing his blonde hair and pale face. Surprisingly, his face was cleaner than hers. His eyes were cold, but they seemed to have a sort of warmth to them.

She looked at him and nothing phased her hard expression, her look was demeaning, though she was shorter and tied up she still looked down on him, "You know how to kill and fight, not how to rule and unify. Elise." She looked away from him again, "Where are we going?" Of course she was fearful, but she was confident she'd get out of this somehow, she was already formulating a plan of escape again.

"Well Elise, the names Luke. What you say is true, but what matters is who has the bigger guns. Obviously your people do, along with better education, healthier diets, and larger population, but that doesn't change the fact that you are all still human. You've killed so many of us that we've become immune to fear. We know that a gun can change any mans mind when it's pointed it at him. Or someone important Atleast."He glanced at her and then back at the road. He parked near a abandoned warehouse and hot out of the car. He grabbed her, not as rough this time, and lead her to the bak entrance. They were in rebel territory. The loyalists wouldn't dare follow them here. "If you tell me all you know, then your life might be spared. This is my place, so escape is almost inevitable."
