Synopsis:
Hako (Ueto Aya) was senteced to 7 years in prison on a robbery charge for the host she loved. Ayaka (Iijima Naoko) killed her husband to protect their son from domestic violence. These two women became acquainted in prison and forged strong bonds. After they are released from prison, they stay together and begin new lives in the old district of Yanaka in Tokyo while carrying pasts that no one must not know.

Ueto Aya to star in new NHK drama
Japanese actress Ueto Aya will star in the new NHK drama "Itsuka Hi no Ataru Basho de", and will play a role of a criminal for the first time.
"Itsuka Hi no Ataru Basho de" is based on Nonami Asa's novel. Ueto will be playing a college student 'Komoriya Hako' who falls in love with a male host.
Other cast members are Asano Atsuko (as Hako's mother), Saito Takumi (as Hako's boyfriend after she was discharged from prison), and the theme song will be sung by singer songwriter Matsutoya Yumi.
"Itsuka Hi no Ataru Basho de" will start airing on January 8th, 2013 with a total run of 10 episodes.
