Fatness is a complete turn off fir me. It might sound wrong, but fat people are a no for me. Unless you're at the gym, then all my respect goes out to you.

Not the obese type I guess. Chubby would work.

I think the moral of this story is: Fat people, don't get guys with a small penis.

And for all y'all who seem to think that being fat is willpower failure, go eff yourself. I have fibromyalgia and have gained a massive amount of weight over the last six years. At my heaviest I had just cracked the 300 mark. When you hurt SO bad every day that merely getting dressed puts you in tears... Yeah, I have no f***ing use for someone who tells me that I'm lazy. I worked full time, went to school full time, and supported a dead beat husband until my mind and body pretty much went on strike. Now I'm going to school full time and have family that's helping me with physical therapy. I'm still overweight (but slowly losing it) and I will NEVER have any use for the "Eat a salad!" crowd.

I wouldnt say its a turn-off but its more of a confindence thing, like if im gonna be with someone bigger than me i wanna be able to withstand it. Im on the thin side so i wouldnt want to be crushed in a hug or in normal couple things.

Looking for a mate? Like a girlfriend? If so then yes and no... You might be able to over look a girl slightly overweight but too much and its a bit disgusting really. I'm not just talking about appearance but just the habits they have.

A little bit of podge is hardly going to deter me, it can actually be kinda sexy. A seriously obese chick definitely would, not just because it's unattractive, but because they must have some condition (or really unhealthy obsession) to make them like that, I'd never risk the chance of my future kids inheriting that.

Ok then for argument's sake let's say that these "mates" looked something like this and that they are trying to work out to be healthy. What would you think now?

sometimes. Well, in my book, ''fat'' does not automatically mean ''obese''. Everyone has some fat on him-/herself.

chubby men huh...too much can be a turn off but otherwise i'm not actually looking at your appearance that much...it's all about the personality!~ ^ ^

i would prior the personality , instead of how the girl looks like, it's obvious though that it's a great bonus for the guy if the girl isn't too chubby

It depends. If it is healthy looking than it isn't a turn off. It's when the person's fat has zero support and is hanging all about the place then it is a turn off. The other big factor is confidence. There are many women I know who are overweight, but are still very confident in themselves and it reflects on their appearance. They stand straighter, look happier, and have a nice aura about them, which is a big turn on. There are those who are absolutely sullen because they are overweight which is a turn off since they tend to look sloppier.

I agree completely. But also, personally, I have an easier time talking to not the most attractive people. So, I myself will have an easier time getting to know someone and begin to develop true feelings for someone who is "chubby" than I will with my infatuation for a "hot" guy. For me I'm easily intimidated and shy around attractive people.

Overall, though, I don't prefer "chubby" nor "fit". I actually prefer "scrawny". XD So it really depends on your "type", I think. I have a friend who has a perfectly healthy weight but she says that she tends to like bigger guys. So I think it really depends on your own personal viewpoint.

I, too, am chubby. I don't think I'm too bad compared to the people who eat fast food everyday XP

An unhealthy man that has a HUGE stomach, that I can't even get my arms around him, I wouldn't even give him a chance. If he's like me (maybe a little bigger), then ok ^^
There's also the fact that some people cant help it. They may have some desease that makes them fat...

Although, half the time I don't care about what I look like, but I still feel sad because I look the way I do, and I'm a girl, we feel this way (no offence to anyone).
And that's why I'm happy it's summer!! \o/

Eh it depends on the amount of fat you are talking about. Easiest way to put it,
Curves are hot, Rolls are not.

There is a definite flip side to this too, its is entirely possible (and happens quite often it seems) to be to skinny, being bony is in no way attractive I don't want to see a girls ribs, its just not attractive.
