Revolt In 2100 by Robert A Heinlein. It captures the feeling of discovering your entire world is based on lies and corruption, and discovering independent thought.

Book of the new sun. One of the most amazing, beautiful and intelligent works of fiction I've ever read. Gene Wolfe is easily one of the greatest writers ever and the way it's written doesn't demand rereads, it invites you for rereads.

Most likely a good number of you've never read it nor even heard about it but trust me, if you even remotely like science-fiction, fantasy or intelligent fiction that also tends to be imaginative, definately check it out.

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.
Through the Looking Glass in particular. So much better than any film adaptions ever made.

Such a wonderful story that has been so overdone in film. I highly recommend Through the Looking Glass as well.
