I don't fall in my dreams, but every now and again laying in bed my body thinks it was tripped and I attempt to stop myself falling despite already laying on my side. Then I lay there wondering what the #-({?

The first and only dream was when I was 6. I was looking down a cliff for whatever reason, then I felt someone pushed me. I was plummeting down at a quick speed and woke up before I hit the bottom.

I've had plenty of dreams where I experience actual pain from the monster or other threat or hit the ground after falling, etc. One memorable dream I recall was one in which Alma, the evil little girl from the game series F.E.A.R., came from nowhere and bit my hand. I distinctly physically felt her hot breath against my wrist and the pain of her bite. I used to think dreams were a purely visual and sometimes auditory experience but dreams like that have proven me wrong.

I've had dreams before where I've hit the ground from falling from great heights. In those dreams it feels slightly like I have physically hit the ground, then everything goes black and a new dream starts. I've also been eaten by a T-Rex and was similar with just a new dream starting. I used to be able to control what happened in my dreams quite well when I was younger, but not as much anymore. As a previous commentor mentioned, when you can conscientiously control parts or the whole of your dreams, there's a fine line between remaining asleep and waking up. That's what I've found through experience anyway.

I always wake up but usually I never remember how I feel. But there was this one time for a week straight everyday I had a dream of how I was going to die and it was different everyday. First I was drowning and the last was in a fire. I think somewhere in the middle was where I had a dream that I was pushed of a cliff. But I didn't wake up from them either I just died and didn't remember anything else from my dream.

I used to have a recurring dream in which I'm running up a spiral staircase in some sort of castle-like tower. There are no railings, so the center is just a very long drop to the bottom. In my dream, this happens at night and the tower is extremely tall, so all I see is a murky darkness when I look down. I usually fall because, for some reason, the stairs get more and more narrow until they vanish, but my feet keep moving...

I get a lot of dreams of when I'm flying over buildings and mountains. Also, swimming deep under water without any scuba gear and being able to breathe like a fish. Most of the time though, I'm able to control my dreams when I'm doing the extraordinary. Though, lately, I've been dreaming of having a healthy baby boy.

When ever i have a dream about falling it's usually of a cliff or a tall building. But i haven't had a falling dream for years now. The worst dreams are when you're trying to run but you just can't.

well, i dont usually wake up when i fall because my dreams are usually anime fights. (it's pretty awesome) i usually only wake up when i die. but i usually never do. it's more when i have defeated my enemy. i love having dreams. i like controlling dreamscape. it makes me feel like i have so much power. in some kind of hidden mind element, there's probably a way to not only contol what happens in your dreams, but to contol how long they are, where they take place, etc. i will devote my life to finding out such secrets. (i always wanted to be a dream scientist)

i also had a dream recently where i met (a silhouette of) my true love, but then my past girlfriends came after her and i, but i was mad and killed all of them...
it was strange. like i had done something wrong, but also something right. i was very confused. i started to die for whatever reason and she died with me.
and after we sat in afterlife strangely for a few minutes, and then i woke up. the afterlife was kind of like a scene in naruto. the scene where nagato and yahiko lie in that bed of flowers together in that old temple. if you watch naruto, you know what i'm talking about.

I remember one friend said he had a dream that he was a cliff on a raining and stormy night and below the cliff was a rocky land and in a flash he fell down and landed on a rock...he said that he actaully felt the rock impact through his head and how his heart stopped in the dream....sadly enough my homie died in the same way in real life =_= 20 days after the dream. he was a good homie

It's usually been a while since I had a falling dream, but I do experience other dreams where I feel like I'm actually there. One time I had a dram that involved a tornado and I had got sucked up in it and then I was spit out and hit the ground hard. I remember the feeling of hitting the ground rock hard and actually felt my heartbeat stop for a second.
Even so, the worst dreams I have are the ones where I can fell myself asleep and laying down and I'm physically aware of my surroundings but whenever I try to move or get out of bed, my body doesn't respond and it feels my body is getting pressed down harder and harder each time I struggle. I hate those dreams.
