I suspect it is an anti-piracy measure, although if so, I wouldn't say it is a very effective one. It is technically correct, however, as that specific stream is only being served to you.  |

Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide As TAO says, it may serve as a sort of DRM. While invisible methods might work better when enforcing, having it visible could serve a similar purpose as signs about fines do. They themselves don't make you pay, but make you aware of the fact that if you will have to, if you break the rule. I guess you could call it preventative DRM. |
