Depends if that person live somewhere at least 2 hours away from me, or if that person lives in a place where i frequently vacation at. I don't usually plan a meet up with an online buddy the moment we add n' talk. Gimme a year, along with my "secret research", then a meet up will be planned if it can work out. I've already met a few and we had a good time, but I have been deceived once.
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide This one chick would always photoshop her pictures to make herself skinny and white faced. The way she would respond made her sound like she was the friendliest person alive (and it gave me an impression that she was nice). When I saw her the first time, she was the complete opposite. She didn't even look like her "photoshopped" pictures at all AND she acted like those girls who are stuck up and trying to get all the attention. We hung out at the mall and a lot of guys were watching me, but she thought they're all watching her so she giggled about it and tried to make me think that they're checking her out. I left 15 minutes after because I couldn't stand her bitchy attitude. |

My husband and I had a mutual friend. That mutual friend told my husband about me. He ended up stalking my Myspace (this was myspace era lol). He freaked me out. He asked for my number on Myspace. Idk wtf made me give him my #. Then he asked me out. I thought he was a man whore judging by his clubbing pictures. I said no. He asked me out again. I gave in. He picked me up from school. Darn those green eyes! 4 years later we got married. LOL.

Definitely would and have. People you meet online, if taken with caution, can be one of the best relationships you can make.

It's really risky. I'd be revealing my true info, and that'd unnerve me. I don't like revealing my real info online, my location is really vague (United States), and I only put my first name.
I like CR, and I like the people here, but it'd be creepy if someone asked me to meet IRL on here. As interesting as it might be, what if they ended up being a sociopath who was preparing to kidnap me? (yeah, that's my paranoia talking) You never know who the person behind the username is, unless they post a picture of themselves. And even then, the picture could be stolen. My info might not even be real, for all you know..... Anyway, if I ever did end up meeting someone from the internet, I'd bring someone along just in case, and meet in a public, open (not secluded) place. |

How can you tell if someone is crazy in real life? In real life, you can lie about anything and everything. |

I can already control reality with my mind, banning me is pointless.

I would and I have。
A lot of my good friends are met through fandoms online and such。 I mean with precautions, it's fine to meet new friends in my opinion。 (^ ^) |

Sure, i would. If i knew them long enough to understand what kind of person they are and we have chatted through webcam and such, i wouldn't mind meeting up with them at the mall or somewhere public at broad daylight. =P

I'd meet people online but strictly on a friendship basis, not dating.
I met plenty of friends from the net over the years. Been a good experience for me. |

Ive met plenty of women online and most of them were horrible people once I met them but some were cool.

Would you meet people from the internet? I could try but I think the result would be that I'd probably...RUN AWAYYYY!!!! |

I still upvote good posts here, even though nothing happens. :/

I have no desire to meet anyone I have ever "met" on the internet. Not that I don't trust that the person on the other side of the screen is not who they say they are, I just prefer for my circle of friends to be within arms reach.
