IMO evil actually did win in dbz. the heroic character is "dead", the dragonballs are gone (meaning if people are murdered they stay that way), and humanity is left to its own devices, murder, crime, poverty, all still factors in the 100 year timeskip. nothing changed. mr satan wasnt revealed as the cowardly liar he always was. boo was removed from everyones memory and ended up becoming his own race (lol at letting a genocidal maniac populate the planet he destroyed).

I kind of wanted Kiritsugu Emiya to win. Technically he did, but you know what I mean if you watched the Fate Zero series.

I wish there was an anime or manga out there where the bad guy/girl does win in the end w/o the genre being horror (feel like that's the only time I see bad guys winning in the end).

My answer to thread:

Team rocket (as well) they're just so cool and funny!

Naraku (inuyasha) I feel like the inuyasha gang always win simply because they're the protagonists, not because they come up with a cool plan or skill. It's simply brawn and no brains and ridiculous amount of luck.

Ulquiorra (bleach) let's be honest here. He killed Ichigo 2 times, but no of course the hero somehow comes back to life via some lame excuse.

Gai (guilty crown). From the beginning I thought gai made a better "king" than Shou. And what's with creators bringing characters back from the dead? Gia's 1st death was epic and bringing him back to life just simply stains the integrity of the character.

Anotsu (blade of the immortal) not sure if he's a "bad guy" since this isn't your black and white, good vs evil manga.

Bakura (yugioh) one of the coolest characters on the show who actually uses his brain instead of relying on "the heart of the cards".

I wanted to see Aizen and Light win.

And for those of you saying you want to see Joker beat Batman, you should (if you aren't already) read issue 13 from last month, and issue 14 coming out next week. A new story ark has just started and without spoiling anything, Joker isn't playing games this time.

I woulda enjoyed seeing what would have happened to the galatic lay line if the macdougall brothers won or the pirates did in outlaw star. Im happy on how it ended but I still think it woulda been interesting.

I actually ended up rooting for the Shiki/Vampires in Shiki towards the end. I really did question who were the real bad guys, with all the things the humans did to the Shiki, and the methods they used to do so.

I sorta wanted to see Anemone win vs Eureka....would be interesting to see how it played out with Anemone and Dominic at the end instead of Renton and Eureka
