I noticed Saki videos are slow down and little choppy than normal. I tried to disable smooth video, change resolution 720p to 480p or SD. It won't help. I tried to watch Mysterious Girlfriend X and YuruYuri in 720p, look smooth and no slow down.

Here is my PC spec:
Motherboard: ASUS A8R-MVP(ATi Crossfire Support
Power Supply: 350 watts
CPU: Athlon 64 X2 4800 @ 2.4 GHz
RAM: 3 GB DDR 400
Video card: EVGA GeForce 8600GT (256MB)
Monitor: AOC 24" wide screen
OS: Windows 7 64-bits
HD: WD 640GB

You'll encounter this with some of the older series like Saki as they are poorly encoded. No amount of changes to any settings are gonna make a difference.

The choppiness is evident even when playing the videos through supported devices.

What version of Flash are you using?
If you're using 11.2 or 11.3 it could be that which is causing the issue as well.

I'm using Flash 11.2. I fixed it somehow, I have to turned background programs off and closed 6 tabs... It is back to normal.

Bjaker, is there ia chance of CR re-encoding older episodes?

Just using Saki as an example. As Endosanity pointed out, the quality of older episodes, like Saki, are poor compared to what CR is currently putting out.

I'm not referring to performance issues like what the OP experienced, but rather things like pixelation, low resolution, and combing which all three are apparent with the Saki episodes.

That is of course if it is an encoding problem. Do you know if Saki is low quality because of the encode or because of the source material that was provided to CR?

Let me ask BK some questions when he gets in. I may be able to queue new encodes on them...
(But I've only started doing that stuff recently, so I just want to ask and see if it would fix it, or if I'm stupid!)
