What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? If the force moves the object, then it is not immovable. If the force doesn't, the force is not unstoppable.

They are both destroyed, thats the only thing that can happen when two equal powers clash.

There is no paradox. The answer is that there can be no such thing as an unstoppable force or an immovable object. Everything has the potential to move or be stopped. Also, even if such forces did exist, the riddle could be solved by having the unstoppable force pass through the immovable object. The immovable object would remain immobile and the unstoppable force would continue on without being stopped.

Scientifically speaking, nothing actually said that the unstoppable force couldn't just pass through the immovable object. Sound for instance is a force. Sound could just reflect off the object. Thus, the force wasn't stopped. Nor was the object moved.

To create a paradox, one must cause an event that denies the event. Such as going back in time to kill your mother 6 months before you were born. If you were not born. You couldn't go into the past to kill her.

Don't go into the past to kill your mom. That would be rude. Thank you!
