If we go by the books we go by the mistaken assumption that girls dont play games... and those that do are obviously abberations. lol
This episode was good, as usual, but the death de jour was rather half-assed... it wasnt even sad, it was just poorly done. |

^ Agreed. But I hate MMOs and everytime I played any, I just ended up soloing. I don't care much for this series but will keep an eye out.
I'm sure this really will happen within the next 15 years or so, just you wait. |

However, later on there definitely seems to be something peculiar going around in town after a strange murder takes place. I'm hoping some light gets shed on this soon and find out who is behind these murders. maybe it really is a ghost? and yoruko's level is probably 10 to get one shotted like that...... |

So... if you die in SAO you also die in the real world but your ghost stays in the game?

I never thought about it, but you got a point. One knife to the back shouldn't have wiped out all her HP like that unless there's a large gap between her and the assailant's levels or her hp was just foolishly low. |

Tbh, I'm sensing a conspiracy here similar to Bleach's Soul Society Arc if anyone is familiar with that. I am suspecting that Yoruko herself is major antagonist of the series based on her reactions. I agree with what EJHicks said as one dagger should not have killed her that easily unless there is a huge power gap between her and the assassin.
Of course, I might be wrong as I've not read the LN of SAO but that's just my theory. Also noticeable is the title of the next episode "Illusionary Avenger" so this could all be some sort of trick? |

For those who know the story with the mystery of the murder in the area (The arc that starts on episode 5) already:
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Her actions would've looked quite strange, keeping her back away from them while walking to the window. Normally, if you trust someone, you'd be willing to show your back. And with that chair there, it wouldn't have looked very natural not showing her back. If the chair had been at an angle, it would've been more feasible. As for how fast she died, she'd have had to have fairly low HP or the weapon would've need a really high damage and DPS value. It wasn't properly explained in the anime, but piercing type weapons do DPS damage while they are impaled. In other words, you are constantly taking damage while it is in you. |

I liked this episode a lot. Probably the reappearance of Asuna has a lot to do with it. Or maybe I just finally got used to the side story-world building pacing.
I just want to comment how there's practically a death in each episode. It's interesting how Kirito and Asuna teamed up to solve this mystery. Anything with mystery solving is a plus for me. I'm not really a gamer but I loved how SAO manages to explore issues in MMO. Can't wait to see how they'll resolve the sleeper PK-ghost thing. |

I'm looking forward to lag playing a darkly comical role (for example: someone goes charging in and BAM he/she is frozen in place and gets killed) if that's possible. So far, they just died off like flies I got emotionally attached to them anyways.
Plus I hope they paid off their ISPs several years in advance. |

I have a huge problem with this show now. It's about the last episode compared to the one before it.
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Remember when he stood there and took a ton of blows and took no damage? Now a girl gets impaled like a death blow in a single shot falls down and dies. ... so where's the consistency? |

There is a big level, skill and equipment difference between Kirito and the Orange Guild PKers so naturally those PKers deal only little or no damage to Kirito. Just try to PK someone who is 30-40 levels above you in some MMO games and you'll see what I mean. Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Kains was killed by asphyxiation(hanged), Yuroko died falling off the window. I don't think that both victims were killed by Grimrock's weapon but indirectly cause their death. |

I'd tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.
