but how does the weapon even strike at first place? wouldnt the safety area rule nullify any damage unless theres a duel? or is it that you can use human's ways to death (such as hanging and fall off the window) without interfering the game's rule? ahh full of mystery

I loved this series because it followed the MMO rules to begin with and now when you accept a duel in a safe-zone you can be killed? What kind of stupid mmo follows that sort of rules? The sleep-PK thing just doesn't make very much sense at all.

Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide The 'challenge someone while they are sleeping' thing is strange, yeah. It at least made a little sense as a workaround / exploit of the game rules. In theory you could do the same thing when they are awake by physically forcing them to accept the duel. Whoever said "sleep pk doesn't make sense" this statement isn't right
The real issue is: "what mmo lets your opponent go into YOUR menu screen" that's retarded
this is like Fry saying shut up and take my money
going into a character profile is one thing but having access to the players menu is again retarded...

the episodes spend a lot of time going into the intricacies of the mmo, and collecting items, special power ups etc, but i would rather see some battles like in the 2nd episode where they show off their skills. Maybe they are saving it for the higher floors....

Well, they're getting pretty high now, and we've started to see little bits and pieces about strategy, at least, on the front lines, so hopefully we won't be waiting too long. I actually sort of like this format, as it seems to be paving the way for side characters to become relevant later, and I think it does a good job establishing character. Nice to see Asuna back this week, btw!

Loved it! It's like a better version of 1/2 Prince, don't know how I've never heard of it before. The art and everything is great~ hope they'll make a game like this in the future.
The one downside I have with it though is the anime kinda moves at a fast pace. Anyone else get the feeling that the episodes don't really connect with each other and that each episode is a mini story by itself?
