i just finished all the episodes that they have here. and i can't wait for the next one im really getting into the story. the only thing i don't really like is that i feel the story is moving to fast. i think i this rate its not gonna go passed like 20 or 24ep. im hoping its alot longer then that and that the story develops alot deeper and gets alot more crazy and complex. so far its really good!

There's a lot more going to happen. To put it in more concise terms, up to this episode is 2 out of 10 light novels. Major spoiler for those who are really curious about how their gonna do the next half of the season Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Sword art online ends the next episode, they go to the real world for a bit, then *something* happens and kirito ends up going into another VR world. |

Click to show or hide If you look at the name of the next episode it does somewhat give it away...think they call it "end of the world" or something |

I just noticed that a Sword Art Online page was created on Hulu, with the the first 3 episodes there. That likely means Aniplex of America will be doing a home video release. I know it is an Aniplex series, but I had thought the full licensing rights hadn't been announced yet even if people generally expected it to be Aniplex of America. Did I completely miss the announcement that Aniplex of America would handle this series? Or is this new?

Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide This show could have ended perfectly with both Kirito and Asuna dying as the world washed in white and I would have been perfectly happy. I really really hope that Asuna didn't die... otherwise I will edit my memories to stop the show just before kirito wakes up. lol I cried through the last half of episode 14. It was beautifully done. |

So we are suppose to have 25 epsiodes? I havent read all the books yet so I am not sure what part of Sword Art ONline is the story going to be?
Also Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide I knew there was something fishy about him so I also wondered about that guild leader too, I always thought he is more of a programmer gamer in the real world. I would say the older gamers nowadays are in their mid to late 40's . Well it looks like Kirito kun was able to overwrite some part of the program and fought as a ghost but since him and Asuna cleared the game as Kayaba ,the Game Master said so that means they both live . Near the end was very touching but the hospital scene... Kirito kun should not be able to walk or get up the bed that fast man. They did made him skinny but muscle wasting is very apparent when there is no weight bearing , try walking without muscles , your joints will buckle because you cannot support youu upper body .And that IV pole will topple. They just sped up things alot so they can move to the part of the story. |

Umm.. older gamers are in their mid to late 30s actually. The video game craze started in the 80s when most of us "older games" were still kids.

the "older" gamer started in the seventees man with the arcade video game and home version of pong in 1975 from where I was ,not just 80's and thats why they are in their 40's now but my brother was a programmer in the early 80's he is 50 now. I remember looking at the different program language books like Basic ,Cobol, C and I had no clue what they meant ha ha ha.
So I would say Mr Guild leader Game Master is in his very late 30 and early 40's because this is the age where you start to doubt yourself and wonder |

Episode 14 Well, that was an emotional episode and a surprising one too with the revelation of the creator and all. I found the duel to be kinda amusing but also emotional same time. Also...what did the Skull Reaper drop? Anyways, it seems that this first arc is over and getting ready for the next one so expecting a new OP song and ED song next time. Ah, it was a good episode though. |

Sooooo... what is supposed to happen next? That seemed like a series ending and not just an arc ending.

this ep was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo disappointing. we do not think asuna is die, because kirito also die just after asuna. we read ep 15 is the end. it will be 2-3 month after SAO. kirito may have to go to a funeral.
