will power, it takes alot to play the game for 2 years straight. and to basically get a second chance in life, you prob wanna see ur wife who give her life for you. but yea 2 years out of a coma like state should leave him completely helpless.

That was time-lapsed or anime-ended, since Kirito was rushed by doctors, nurses and family members in the manga.

I like it over all, but the thing that threw me off in the beginning of the series was the pacing. It just seemed way to fast for some reason. The first episode happened and them next episode they're several

like i said, 2 years woulda left him completely helpless. my dad was in bed for nearly a year, but at the end he managed to get up and get himself out of bed, although he fell on his face but he did conjure the strength to pull himself out of the bed.

wolsaiga..

I hope your dad is better. I was annoyed of that part in the anime as well because I myself was unable to get up and walk for a month and got really weak and lost weight because I could not sit up to eat .

So I look for the novel ,found it, read that chapter and It made me feel better because the novel had so much realistic detail in that part.

SPOILER ok

but the novel has more details. So I would have made that part dramatic but the anime did that part in 1 minute 20 seconds before the end music began

Yea, the novel did a better job showing just what getting up did to him, and just how hard it was. He was moving by sheer will, which is understandable since he had managed to survive two years and that game, and had someone to find.
