I really hope they make anime of the GGO arc.
Kinda seems odd that they wouldn't, most series/shows enter new contracts if they are successful, and this is successful. With all the content all sorted out for them already with the light novels... So I hold out hope yet |

Once more into the fray, Into the last good fight I'll ever know.

It says this show only has 25 episodes for the series. Are they not going to have more seasons?

can't believe what a mess of asucaga Gundam Seed Destiny created!

They'll probably end it with Kirito rescuing Asuna and them getting their happy ending.

Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Sword Art Online is completely releated to Accel World. Same universe but few years in the future. And it looks like the couples had baby daughters too. ^.^ |

Admittedly, I spoiled some of it for myself by reading ahead in the novel. I am really wondering how they are going to go about this. It seems like the recent episodes are really making me squirm way more than the last ones. The villain is particularly unbearable. I guess you know that's when it is good!

Episode 19 Hey, that soundtrack is actually pretty epic. Yuki Kajiura, enough said. That illusion and barrier magic..I wonder how long it takes to master both skills. Well whatever, Kirito owned those guys. I think Asuna is probably very proud of him somewhere right now in ALO. |

I was really disappointed in their adaptation of exiting the cave. In the light novel leafa explains that kirito had so much agility he was able to expertly maneuver between monster, and without him she wouldn't have gotten out nearly as fast.
Other than that it was pretty good. I feel like episode 16-18 were kind of wasted. They still have a lot to do in 5 episodes and they're going to have to cram it all in |

Episode 19
Damm Its a pretty good one . I know they have been taking out details here and there from the light novel but i think its sufficient. Anyway, When i was reading the part where Kirito kun transformed. It felt like he turned into a boss ha ha ha and when i was watching it, he sure looked liked a boss especialy with his high HP . i was cracking up at thethought of it ...... I wish the anime is longer. |

I guess I missed something obvious but… How can she not notice he's her brother? He's got the exact same face as in SAO (doesn't the original game creator forced real appearance in 1st episode?), same voice, same everything…
What did I miss? Thanks! |

oharawinter,
actually she doesnt know that . We had a discussion about this right around the earlier episode of this arc. In ALO you do have an avatar not your real face and not your voice but they assume this one though . |

Yeah, Kirito and pretty much everyone's avatar was stripped away forcibly early in the SAO game. It appears in ALO such things don't matter and they kept their avatars, otherwise Leefa's male friend from school would look very different. SAO was a probably a closed game to observers so anyone not actively playing/dying in the game would know the real appearance of anyone else.

Regarding his identity:
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide As I understood it, Kirito's true identity was considered a huge secret, and it was even kept from his family - only some higher ups in the government, as well as certain people who worked for the company, knew who he was. Of course, the few people closest to him in SAO knew as well. Thus, his family knew he was in the game, but not his username, nor his role within it. The rest was kept classified, basically. |

I just figured it was similar to a war vet coming home and just not talking about it. They'd have a behavior or two that the family won't recognize, but in the end they just won't talk about it.

And also it is somehow a cultural trait for Japanese to not talk about those things either not unless you ask , well from what I observed from my nihon jin friends. |
