Episode 20



Well, that's a nice way to start off the episode with that aerial fight. Dual sword, phase through, Yuki Kajiura and all. I actually found it impressive as one of the first intense battles in ALO imo.

Also, I think Kirito gained two more admirers. Popular kid, huh? Anyways, I actually enjoyed this latest episode. Also, Asuna is going to escape?....hmm

Popular is an understatement Especially if they get to the Underworld Arc later on.

After he said that I was totally hoping for him to catch Leafa offguard and say something like "you remind me of my sister" Theyre both totally clueless to each others offline identities.

That was a good fight scene with the general too, but I was curious as to why the other guy told him they had an Undine with them when they encountered them in the woods when he knows it was just them two.

he was playing along. he felt he owed them a debt since they just let him escape when they could have just killed him there. or as the novel says...

As he flew away, Kagemune looked back at Lyfa, and, with a laugh in his eyes, awkwardly winked his right eye. I repaid what I owed you— that's probably what he meant, Lyfa thought with a slight smile on her face.

im not sure what the word undine refers to but i think what the guy was telling the general was when the three slamanders met with kirito when he firs came to Alfheim. Two salamanders scattered after Kirito killed one off them. Is this what your talking about? or r u talkin about something totally different.? Yeah i thought for a second that Kirito was just about to say " you remind me of my sister" but as awkward as it was at that point it was dismissed.

there's currently 10 novels out, as well as many short stories. there's a lot more detail in them, especially in the SAO arc. there's been more than a few things skipped or altered. you can read everything that's been translated here: http://www.baka-tsuki.org/project/index.php?title=Sword_Art_Online

Just to clarify on this, SAO is a time when virtual reality is possible through the integration of a person's brain (nervous system) with a helmet or similar device. With AW, on the other hand, virtual reality is integrated partly into the real world itself. For that to happen, a fairly longer leap than a few years in time would have to happen. It's been hinted they are in the same universe what with NervGear appearing in AW and all as an example of that. SAO starts in 2020 and AW in 2046, meaning roughly 26 years would have passed. Kirito would be 40 years old in AW and Asuna 41, enough time to have a teenage child. Not necessarily baby daughters, but perhaps enough for a character in AW to be related to them in some way? Well, I want to watch Accel World now...so thanks for giving an unintentional reccomendation...i been looking for new animes to watch. thanks to Spazticus for explaining that Undine is one of the ALfeim races...it went over my head I guess.

sex scenes in anime topic is right under this, so I saw sex art online at first.

the flying fight scene could have been a train wreck, but it turned out alright.

my favorite chapter in the SWO universe is coming up either next episode or the one after that
