Episode 20 that one flew by pretty fast !!!!
I finally get to watch it. I was so busy !! the adaptation of the novel is well done in this part of the chapter the fight scene was excellent, I think the fighting animation director did a pretty good job. This episode moved quickly .The one detail they did not put in was in the their lines during their reaction to what Kirito kun gave them, to me that line stood out in that scene the most. Now I can read the next chapter , I try not to read too far aheadbut man 6 more epsodes left Update: Just finished Chapter 5 , cant wait to see the new character designs. Great next adevnture. Now to wait for next weekend... |

That was a good fight scene with the general too, but I was curious as to why the other guy told him they had an Undine with them when they encountered them in the woods when he knows it was just them two. Leafa knows Kirito is her brother/cousin in real life. Doesn't she? Yeah I'm sure of it. |

She also does NOT know that Kirito is actually Kazuto, and she's ALSO falling for Kirito. She's technically on the road to get dumped twice. |

Click to show or hide and no, neither of them know who the other is in ALO. although they find out soon enough. |

a lot of folks still ask that question , no they dont know that fact yet . Remember in ALO you have an avatar different from reality . Only Asuna has almost the same face in the avatar from the Aincrad arc which is why Kirito and the others who knew her recognized her in that picture.
Anyway lets see the next chapter unfolds . its getting really exciting I am looking forward to see the art and more fighting animation. |

The ALO arc has been really well written, and unlike the very early episodes in the series, the flow between the episodes has been a lot better.
For example, what was the point of the random jump in episode 4 to introduce Silica? It totally broke up the narrative flow of the story and she hasn't been seen since. Surely it would have been much better to have done that episode as a bonus/OVA and have another episode dealing with Kirito trying to settle into SAO and deal with the changes in his life. |

I like the animation, action, and story, but the characters are lame. They have absolutely NO depth. They are just a bunch of regular boring kids. And the explanation for why the creator of SAO did what he did was so weak. Oh, I just did it because I am a crazy mad scientist and wanted to see what would happen. Come on. Come up with better stuff.

I I still think a anime very weak, the characters are bad, they have no personality, no one is single, do not develop, and the story is quite normal and full of flaws, it is a good anime and only that, nothing above average or that it will be the best of the year.

AFTER the ALO arc. me, I just hope that means they have plans for more.. |

She figured that out in the most recent episode, didn't she? Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide When he busted out the dual-wielding ability, I thought that she ID'd him as Kazuto at that point. There was a major "AHA!" moment with the look on her face after she saw him dual-wielding. Maybe I'm wrong, but I figured that what she was about to say when she was prying the two leaders off of him was "He's my brother!" |

The amount of times I re-watched the episodes is ridiculous, and every time I get to a touching scene I'd be heartbroken even though I've seen it before.

Click to show or hide I think both of them are still ignorant of the other's identity. I think the look on her face was just meant to show that she was amazed by him. She hasn't seen any of Kazuto's dual wielding skills in real life to be able to connect it to Kirito's abilities. And I'm pretty sure the "He's my ..." was something she said without meaning to or and without knowing what to finish it with, showing that she has become attached to and possessive of Kirito (separately from her feelings Kazuto). |
