Most MMORPG's have bugs and glitches in them. That's one of the reasons they get updated on a regular basis. sometimes a bug can be beneficial and when players find out about them, they will generally use them to their advantage. the programmers call those exploits and remove them to make the game fair for everyone. Even if a game is thoroughly beta tested, there will be flaws that become apparent only when the game is played by a larger pool of people. I'm curious to see if this idea gets hit on at all in this story.

What if you are that one poor sap that gets stuck in a wall?

This is a good statement, I wonder as well.

Of course you might've predict that there may be hackers within, gold sellers, everything an MMO suffers from will be included in the series.

Edit:

One question though, this goes for everyone as well if you know the answer.. ..

When Asuna bit onto that bread, why was it hard like a rock? Did it have any explanation other than the cream being spread onto the bread?

Well... He did not go that high it was a lie... but judging by the fact he made it to level 8, which it took an entire group jsut to get passed level 1.. and he was a solo runner.... His skill level is pretty crazy high

It wasn't a lie i assume, he practically soloed the boss on level 1 and you have to remember he had an infinite amount of lives and i think they said a month to do it so 1 month 1000000000000 respawns level 8 solo sounds believe able

he also said that during beta everyone was just hanging out and using the game as a social game is why he went highest and groups never passed him

The only thing I feel the anime is missing is a little more in depth explaination of the games mechanics. I'd really like to know how the leveling works, are there stats on gear, are there level requirements on gear and skills and so forth. Only info we've gotten so far is on skills, as long as you perform the right motion with a certain weapon a skill will activate and the system will ensure that it hits. Does that mean you can use any weapons skills at level one? As long as you use the right motion? Or is there a form of requirement to use said skills?

This is what I hope the anime explains a little more in depth in the episodes to come. There is only 2 episode so for so complaining about lack of information is a little silly but I'm just voicing my opinion on the matter. But for now, we can speculate.

Have a good one

LOLOLOL

no just no he was lying. You need a raid group to kill a floor boss and the only reason he was able to "solo" the boss was because the boss was at one point taking extra damage due to being disoriented and because the boss was already at like 5-10% health because the raid group brought him that low before Kirito even jumped in. A few minutes after someone clears a floor boss everyone can get to that floor via teleporter so he was with everyone else that was able to survive on floor 8(aka there was at least 40 people his lvl on floor 8 due to having to clear the boss)

Speaking of the novels, I'm REALLY hoping someone will bring them over. SOA took me completely by surprise and has become one of my most anticipated titles of the week, much to my shock. It's just so exquisitely dark behind the happy exterior, and there's SO many things to explore; the hinted at sympathies that perhaps "this world is better than the real world" from early episode 1, the building [perhaps later a collapse!] of social structure in the game world, prejudice against the beta testers, and the theories about bugs [being the guy "stuck in the wall"] are all SO awesome. Perhaps I'm expecting too much from the series and letting my excitement get the better of me, but still. Lots and lots of potential.

What gets me is, say they get out and beat the game....but after floor 1 took a month, it'll have been YEARS to beat it. Would you want to go back? Would you be able to readjust, or would the notion of having all of that lost time to make up for be just too much to overcome?

Back to the novels again, is any group fan translating them, even?
