The hospital scene were they finally got to meet (awake) had me in tears and I'm still crying. <3 It's sad I could only give the ep 5 stars, deserves at least 20.

Click to show or hide I personally didn't like the Finale as much, because I wanted the ending to slide another way with the story, it felt cheesy in my opinion. But nevertheless a great series, I'll be sure to check out the next season(If there will be one?)

He was with Asuna, he took her hand and flew off to the floating castle not Suguha's. Also Suguha is his sister/cousin, he's not going to ditch her and ignore her because she's in love with him.

I also don't really see it to be touching/saddening to the point where it could make viewers cry. Anyway, I decided to read the light novel before the last few episodes and seen that we missed quite a lot which would have made things more dramatic. Would have also brought out more emotions and tied up loose ends. I do know that there weren't very many episodes and so things were inevitably left out, otherwise it would have dragged on; but it doesn't change the fact that things were left out and fans would like to know so they'd feel complete. (That moment one of your fave animes end and you want to know what happens next or if it'll continue so much that you start gathering every piece of information you can from many sources). So read on to see what was missed during this episode. Fight with Sugou & Reunion with Asuna Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide During The fight with Sugou some things were missed out or undermined during fight, nothing too important but would have made it better. What they didn't show in the anime is that the hospital was closed off which is why Kirito ended up in the parking lot. After the whole scenario with Sugou (ending with Kirito tying him up), the scene with Kirito interacting with the nurse and guard was missed. During that scene, Kirito stole a visitors pass after the nurse went to call a doctor (and the guard went to check on Sugou). He was very physically drained after all this to the point where he just barely made it to Asuna's door and could not move any further until he heard that voice and received a mysterious push on the shoulder (in the anime he was perfectly okay). Also during the end of reunion with Asuna, where he saw their SOA selves together, they were meant to be 'shadows' he' thought' he saw. But obviously, we would have known it was them despite that. Back at school Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Kirito says "Still, that chime was quite similar to the sound of the chapel at the starting city on Aincrad's 1st floor. If they had designed the tone knowing this fact, the designers of this school building have quite a dark sense of humor". I found that quite funny since the school is for students who played SAO.. moving on. In the episode, Kirito and Asuna talk about who may know them from SAO. What wasn't said is that students refer to Asuna as "princess" so yes, she is well known. Also, this is probably important for those who wanted the law to be involved more. What wasn't explained in the episode is that the orange players (PKers) were undergoing more than one year of counselling which included treatment and observation. Those like Kirito, that attacked other players for self-defence were not left with a criminal record or intentions of blackmail. The End Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide I'm pretty sure I've seen someone say that what happened at the end of the episode didn't happen in the V.N.. Everything did happen. Leafa and Kirito being together, the Floating Castle, Aincrad appearing, everyone coming together to clear the castle 100%.. So even though it seemed like a rushed ending that finished in a way that would make people think "they couldn't actually continue this from how it's just ended.." that's how it ended in the V.N so chances are there that it will continue on.

There are so many things I wished the production company did better during the Aincrad arc becuase this anime could have been better . I know a lot will comment with that last scene with Sugu although they didnt show he was fumbling before it became a dance,but according to the light novel that her feelings toward KIrito kun was changing. She is not sure anymore but the way I see it , it is becoming more platonic and their bond will get stronger, more like of a brother and sister who are really close. That progression is fine with me becuase its more natural in my book. NOw we all wish it will continue with the next arc, well most of us . If not , I hope the OVA's are not too far away. Inspite of all the good and not so good , I really enjoyed this series I liked the characters and the story . There so many good anime that came out of 2012 , a year I will remember well and the world was suppose to end yesterday 12/21/12 but only a December Solsctice came Anyway, happy HOlidays and Happy New Year everyone

Not per se the best anime out there but a good one none-the-less imo. The hyper-critics out there will now have to find something else to try and tear apart since its the only thing they're good at.
