Episode 3
Hmm, I felt somewhat of the same emotions when I saw the episode the first time. That's all I can say

I'm glad everyone is liking SAO. It's one my favorite animes ever! I literally cannot wait for the special that's coming out this holiday. I'm hoping to dear god it's a sign for another season.

What can I say, I am not an emotional man, never cried watching any movie, nothing. But some of these scenes made me tear up in happiness and sadness. :(((. Why can't everything be this good! What would you suggest for me, something that is this emotional that is.

Eureka 7, without a doubt.

That's really the only thing I can think of that has strong emotional ties like SAO.

The relationship between Renton and Eureka is one for the books.

i really liked SAO. i understand that there were plot holes throughout the anime, but i think the alfhiem arc some what made up for it as it was the continuation. as for the special of SAO this winter,it says that there will be new footage and im really hoping that this new footage is a teaser trailer to the second season (or third depending if you considered alfhiem as a season by itself);if not then its still ok as other things added will just make the anime that much more awesome for me.i really hope they do make another season, but for now im just going to read the light novels.

I don't think the producers of SAO could have done anything differently with this series. Yes, I do think that the Aincrad arc was 2 episodes too long, however, I don't think that they could have stretched the ALO arc the same way as they could have the Aincrad arc.

I know the next arc is going to be fantastic :)

I GoldTStar have finished SAO. I really deserve a plaque lmao. But in all seriousness, the second cour was not as bad as i thought it would be. I mean, it wasn't good but i might have enjoyed it just as much as the first cour... so not that much lol.

I find it strange you are the only person who has ever said the Aincrad arc was too long...

I don't think it was necessarily too long, as it is that it simply stopped making you feel each death, which had previously been the focus of the show. It moved on to Kirito and Asuna's relationship, but they should have still kept the previous emotional attachment with low-character-base, and it would have kept that something that made the episodes feel like there was more in each one.
