Episode 4 ![]() Another great episode as we see a bit more of Inaba and her side of the world from Taichi's point of view. However, it seems that she doesn't trust her friends?! Also, some reflection of Iori's past from her point of view. And..Taichi..LOL, some things are better left unsaid, especially towards your crush. Yup, cat's out of the bag for both friends. |

Don't spoil it! Go watch this one before you're spoiled, so good, so funny... Love this show!

I suppose a gal doesn't really know what it feels like unless they switch bodies but I suspect they get the idea... I was gonna say that too, how could she NOT know that if she has been in karate all that time?? Even an accidental hit there while sparring can put a guy on the floor. Not a bad show so far though. I'm in as long as it doesn't get too harem-like. |

No Sailor Moon this summer? Boo.

Yui, Iori and Inaba don't seem to be fawning over Taichi like the usual harem. Three girls, two guys, personality swapping makes it feel different than most harem comedy anime IMO.

I agree with you, so far it's not quite a typical harem. I think it could turn into one based on this latest episode. I just hope this show has more up it's sleeve than that. If it does start turning typical harem I'll lose interest, but until then I'll keep watching.
Sure there are two guys but Aoki is more in the background than Taichi. He doesn't provide any serious competition yet. It's funny how most people are concerned about the guys doing perverted stuff in the girls bodies. If it were me in a guys body I'd be waaay to curious to not try some things... |

Episode 4. This confirms it. Kokoro Connect is the best and one of the few decent anime airing this season. "I've masturbated to you before." "Likewise." Well dayum. |

Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful?

That "secret" : One of the BEST moments in Summer 2012 IMO.
Well, along with that balls-kicking scene last episode. |

That awkward moment when you realize you have nothing to type here.

This show keeps getting better and better. It's definitely one of my favorites this season.
I don't think it's developing into a harem. And we haven't learned much about the boys. Yet. As for Yui's fear and the groin kick... Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide it's not unreasonable. One of the reasons for training is to keep yourself from thinking in a fight, especially so fear doesn't take over. Unfortunately for Yui, she's lost the belief that she can defend herself because of this fear. It's not that she doesn't know about groin kicks, it's that she believed it didn't matter anymore. It's an irrational reaction which makes it so hard to deal with. Normally people need some form of counseling to deal with these experiences. Instead, Yui got Taichi. He let her experience just how debilitating a groin kick can be. That seemed to be enough to break through her fear and restore some of her confidence. I thought that was well handled, as well as the other scenes in this episode. The writers really seem to be interested in delving into people's fears. |

I was hoping Taichi's secret would be something else. I don't know why but him coming out was the first thing that came to my mind. I thought that was well handled, as well as the other scenes in this episode. The writers really seem to be interested in delving into people's fears. I agree. ____________________________ But waiT! I'm in as long as it doesn't get too harem-like. My thought on that was that it is a different level of "knowing". It is one thing to know that a kick to the groin hurts, it is another thing altogether to experience the pain and how much it immobilizes a guy when you do that. Since her issue had to do with losing confidence in her karate skills being enough to overcome the physical strength of a man, this might be enough to speed her on her way to greater self confidence and reduced fear. As for the latest episode: Heavy! Next one looks heavier! THis show is rapidly challenging Tari Tari for the #1 spot n my Summer list! |

I agree. Given the serious nature of parts of the show, I'm not sure "death" is being used metaphorically. I like all the characters, so if one of them might die... well, that will be a hard episode to watch. And what happens if the personalities are switched that time? It sounds very scary, indeed. |

BTW, for those who care about such things, the next episode title is the title of the final chapter in the first novel, so it should have a mid-season climax feel to it! I look forward to it with great anticipation, and a little bit of dread... (I haven't read it, just looked at the outline on Baka Tsuki... They aren't done translating it anyway...)

I didn't know this is based on a LN. I'll have to get those after the show is over. |
