We still don't know, but there is some rather strong speculation that Psycho-Pass is the Gen Urobuchi anime. For TheAncientOne: ANN has an article on a short anime that starts October 3 at 1:35 a.m JST: Wooser no Sono Higurashi http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2012-08-24/wooser-hand-to-mouth-life-manga-gets-tv-anime-by-supercell-members FansubDB has it listed. Fansub DB also has a time and date for Bakuman 3. October 6th at 5:30 P.M JST on NHK-E.. Countdown doesn't have that listed (and Countdown now lists Girls und Panzer 's debut time too) EDIT: FansubDB also has updated its listing for Kyousogiga 2. It's an ONA(listed with NicoNico and YouTube) with 5 episodes, and 1 episode a month release. it starts August 31, 10:00 a.m JST Also "Imaginary Abyss" has been edited to "Urobuchi Gen Original Anime" |

llamaben wrote: Leaving aside the issue of new content or not, this means that a Thursday TV Tokyo series is ending. I can't see Pokemon/Naruto ending and Shirokuma Cafe is confirmed for 50 episodes*, so that narrows it down to the 6:00pm slot currently held by Sket Dance (one of Gintama's old timeslots), or the 6:30pm slot which is held by a non-anime series. * It's possible that it could be cancelled as a result of the issues with the mangaka earlier in the year, but that's unlikely. Edit: Now that a higher quality image is available it's confirmed to be 6pm, which means Sket Dance is most likely ending. I'd speculated when Gintama ended / went on haitus that they might be slotting it to go on-again / off-again with Sket Dance. |

I have really high expectations for Little Busters. Clannad and Angel Beats are my two favorite anime, both works by Key.
Girls und Panzer seems interesting, mostly because I really have yet to watch an anime based on tanks. I'm considering watching Shin Sekai Yori. It's intriguing, but I am kind of iffy about it. Chuunibyou is one I am very interested in. By the way, I thought there was going to be something with Sora no Woto. What happened? I loved Sora no Woto! |

Updates to initial post:
Added information on Wooser no Sono Higurashi (Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life). Updated title for Jormungand Second Season to Jormungand: Perfect Order Updated episodes counts for Busou Shinki TV, Hidamari Sketch x Honeycomb, Robotics;Notes and Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo. Updated premiere date and time for Bakuman 3 and Jormungand: Perfect Order. Updated premiere date and time, and episode counts for Little Busters and Suki-tte Ii na yo. Updated premiere date and time, and network for Girls und Panzer. Updated premiere date and time, and network and episode count for Kyousogiga 2. FansubDB finally got rid of Imaginary Abyss (and replaced it with Urobuchi Gen Original Anime, more consistent with the charts). It appears that Gintama this fall won't simply be reruns, but it also will not be all new episodes, either: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2012-08-26/new-gintama-anime-episodes-to-return-on-tv I was waiting on confirmation regarding exactly what it was before adding it to the initial message, so naturally it happened only a few hours after the update. |

I wonder if Japanese TV has something similar to "sweeps weeks" in the United States, or if the new episodes will follow some type of pattern (i.e., new episode, two repeats, new episode, etc.)? I can also see the complaints from ill-informed members now (i.e, "Episodes having been airing every week, but Crunchyroll hasn't posted one for the past two weeks"). |

The closest thing I'm aware of is Detective Conan. It airs remastered episodes every so often (usually in small batches), but they only air around 20% of the time. I don't think it'll follow a bi-weekly pattern or anything like that, especially when the season should be starting off with 2 medium length arcs. If anything I'd be guessing it's something like a month on/month off thing. I wouldn't be surprised if they were rotating every 3/6 months either. |

I read something that stated they started recording the new episodes now. So i imagine they will air the kintama arc then once it ends show some past episodes mixed in with new ones till the next serious arc. Rinse and repeat. |

FansubDB has dates and times for two more series:
Zetsuen no Tempest premieres October 5 at 2:00 a.m JST on MBS (Countdown has that time and date too) Seitokai no Ichizon 2 premieres October 13 at 11:30 p.m JST on niconico.jp (time and date not on Countdown yet) EDIT: I overlooked a third one that had its time and date announced. Onii-chan Dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankei Nai yo ne premieres on October 5th at 11:00 p.m JST on AT-X http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2012-08-27/onii-chan-dakedo-ai-sae-areba-kankei-nai-yo-ne-theme-songs-revealed ANN confirms date and network. FansubDB has the full details though(and Countdown now has Seitokai 2 and OniAi's date and time up too) |

There goes any chance of a true simulcast. Given that Oniai is a Media Factory title and the subject matter(Funi doesn't usually pick up the siscon shows, Sentai doesn't shy away from them, neither did ADV), I would say the odds of it being a Sentai sublicensed delaycast on Crunchyroll are quite good. I can already see the complaints, the self-appointed "tastemakers" will say that it is just another "otaku pander" show and the ill-informed will ask "why u delay?" and "why is Crunchyroll censoring this?" when Crunchyroll has little control of either if they're simulcasting the Tokyo MX airing. In other news, Fansub Wiki has finally caught up with everything and lists Vivid Red Operation and AKB0048 Next Stage under Winter(they put it as Winter 2012 but it's really January 2013 so Winter 2013). I would still keep Fansub Wiki as a source, but really FansubDB has been much better for the last few months. |
