Well, since the first season aired here, I think most of us expected Sentai/CR would get the second season as well.

Not happy Anime-on-demand is taking some of the shows off Crunchyroll again (UK).

Sure I can watch them on Anime-on-demand, but it's such a crap service. Last three seasons they only added one series. Before that all their episodes had encoding problems and they didn't do anything about it. Most of the time they were late uploading new shows. They're generally slow at doing anything. It also sucks having to pay for two places at once, even if they are giving us this autumn free. Competition is normally good, but I recon anime-on-demand is run by monkeys or at least somebody who is funded so much money he doesn't give a shit wether he updates the site or not .

Looking forward to the new shows though :P!

I agree that their consistency when it comes to delivering simulcasts on time has been poor, and their typesetting has been dreadful (Mirai Nikki needed good typesetting for the diary entries, but it didn't get it), but with six simulcasts this season, I'm optimistic that they're going to try their best to get their act together. Quite a few shows AoD get aren't picked up by Crunchyroll at all, so if nothing else, we at least get more choice!

^ Yup, llamaben 2 for 2 today.

http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2012/09/28/crunchyroll-to-stream-shin-sekai-yori-from-the-new-world-anime

Shin Sekai Yori is set to broadcast every Tuesday starting on October 2, at 12:40 pm Pacific Time for premium members. Free members are able to view one week after initial broadcast on Crunchyroll.

The show will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following territories: USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Central & South America.

That sounds like it is close to the broadcast premiere of it. Regions are nice too. The availability will make a lot of people happy.

It hasn't been confirmed that they're taking them off CR yet. From the looks of things the licenses that CR gets from Sentai aren't exclusive, so It's possible that CR still has UK rights to those series while AOD's stream is on a 1 month delay or something (similar to TheAnimeNetwork's recent streams).

I actually already watched Shin Sekai Yori through raws. It aired a few hours ago. I have to say that CR's late broadcast isn't encouraging. T.T
Although I'm happy that it's available for South America.

This matches up with the TV Asahi broadcast. They mark it as Tuesdays 27:10 so that would be Wednesday 3:10 a.m JST (so an hour and a half after the Japanese premiere on over the air TV? [CS Asahi is a satellite channel so CR would be 4 days behind that])

Someone just answered me that on the comments of the news. Thanks anyway for the more detailed explanation

I wonder if Funimation will grab Robotic;Notes. They have both Steins;Gate and Chaos;Head, so it really wouldn't surprise me.

Edit: I was looking to see what else Funimation seemed likely to try for (besides Jormungand), and I noticed something: does this upcoming season seem to have less cleavage than normal?

Anime on Demand's third UK simulcast is Hidamari Sketch x Honeycomb.

Hmmmm....Hidamari Sketch and Chuu2Koi are both TBS shows. Hidamari Sketch(all the previous seasons, but not this one I mean) has also been licensed by Sentai(and produced by Aniplex).

If you notice, we've gotten a few Aniplex-produced Sentai-licensed shows a catalog titles(Angel Beats, Hell Girl: Two Mirrors, Guin Saga, Night Raid 1931, Xam'd).

I'd say that CR's prospects for getting Hidamari Sketch x Honeycomb have increased. (CR getting Chuu2Koi would be nice too)

Lineup page looks weird. The new Hayate show isn't on it. The announcement page says next announcement is Monday(lineup page still has Sunday).

Well Sentai has Hidamari Sketch so that's probably another lock for CR.

If they do, hopefully they don't commit until the season has already started and Crunchyroll gets a chance to do the simulcast.

Keep in mind that CR was the one to get Steins;Gate as a simulcast. Of course, that was in the days when CR was Kadokawa's go-to service.

If Funimation actually does try to boost their simulcasting this season (as they had indicated earlier in the year they would), then I certainly expect this would be a series that would be high on their shopping list.

Knowing Funimation, there is a good chance we won't find out most (if not all) of their simulcasts until NYCC (October 11 - 14). Since that is after R;N premieres, if CR hasn't announced it before the premiere, that is a good indication that Funimation has it.

It will be interesting to see if CR tries to make arrangements to stream the previous series, given that there are 3 of them.

Even if they do, those outside the U.S. should prepare to be disappointed, since those would be U.S. and Canada only.

Updates to initial post:

Added information on Crunchyroll announcement of Hayate No Gotoku! Can’t Take My Eyes Off You. and Shin Sekai Yori (From the New World) simulcasts.
Added information on Anime on Demand (UK) announcement of simulcast of Hidamari Sketch x Honeycomb.
Added premiere date and time for Chiisana Ojisan (Mini Oyaji)

NOTES:

While the premiere of Shin Sekai Yori (From the New World) is shortly after the broadcast on TV Asahi, the simulcast time currently listed on the series page is shortly after the earlier broadcast on the CS-Asahi satellite channel.

Anime on Demand has stated they will announce their fourth simulcast on Saturday, September 29, the fifth on Sunday, September 30, and the sixth and final one on Wednesday, October 3. All announcements are at 6:00 PM (I assume GMT).
