False alarm ~ seems they put up the Ixian Saga without realizing that it represented one of the [?] boxes with the 2 October date. After Boozoom! was announced, that Oct2 [?] boxes went away. |

Appears there's no chances of us getting Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! or Hidamari Sketch x Honeycomb or any other TBS titles now. This is awful. Technically, Sentai and TAN are different companies. Sentai licenses shows and one of the sites that they often offer content to is The Anime Network, which shows content but doesn't license them. It could be that TAN gets them exclusively for a while, and then maybe Crunchyroll will get them later. Yes, but since ADV switched to using Sentai to license titles, and then split itself up into Section23, TheAnimeNetwork and Seraphim Studios, Sentai seems to have been licensing the titles that TheAnimeNetwork and/or Section23 tell them to license. However, TheAnimeNetwork doesn't seem to want to pay the price to get exclusive simulcasts for more than a few series each season, which has allowed Crunchyroll to start getting shared simulcast rights to a lot more Sentai/Section23/TAN series, since sublicensing to Crunchyroll allows Sentai to offer a higher Minimum Guarantee. I guess we can take the titles announced by Sentai, subtract the three that have been announced as TAN exclusives, and assume that Crunchyroll is likely to get all the rest. Of course, one of those was Boozoom!, so we can already check that one off. |

So im guessing the last 4 boxes are Medaka Box Abnormal, Girls und Panzer, the last 2 boxes could be "JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure the Animation", Little Busters, why those two because they are getting closer to be simulcast, idk they may add new boxes tomorrow, hoping

I thought they were announcing 2 titles today? Only Btoom?

Anemic offerings. It's a shame that Anime Network decided to keep most simulcasts for their site only, especially considering how lousy their stream quality always is.

The language used in the TAN announcement seems rather specific: We have some new releases that will be coming soon to our wonderful little site, and you'll be able to watch them ONLY on Anime Network Online. If CR got them one week later or a month later, then that statement would be untrue. Updates to initial post: Added information on TAN announcement of simulcasts of Busou Shinki, Chunibyo Demo Koi ga Shitai and Hidamari Sketch x Honeycomb. Added information on Crunchyroll announcement of simulcast of BTOOOM!. Added simulcast time, simulcast premiere date, and availability for Ixion Saga DT. |

TAN would have little reason to delay them a month except for CR being given an exclusive for that period. |

Unless Sentai somehow convinced TBS to stream the series on time, the TAN announcements are no big loss.
On a side note, are they still using yellow subs? If they are it's amazing that they haven't realized how horrendous their subs look after so long... |

From the TAN site:
Girls und Panzer You may have heard of kung fu, but the girls at Oarai High School practice gun-fu. It’s called Sensha-do, and it’s the martial art of operating armored tanks! Winning the national Sensha-do championship is crucial, so they go to extremes to draft the best students, which is how Miho Nishizumi, who HATES tanks, is drafted to join doomsday-driven driver Mako, even-triggered gunner Hana, highly receptive radio operator Saori and combustible tank-fangirl Yukari. It’s mad, it’s metal, and mayhem is guaranteed! Marching band and drill team take cover, ‘cause the parade ground’s about to be rock and rolled over in: Girls und Panzer! Language: Japanese w/ English Subtitles Schedule: Coming Soon All 12 episodes will be available to watch on Anime Network Online for FREE! I expect that this means it will also be on Crunchyroll, since it is not one of the shows they have on their "exclusive" list, but it has been announced as a simulcast/delay-cast for the season. Is it just me, or is the CR slate looking much smaller than the Summer season? Like 10 fewer shows... Is it just that there are fewer Fall series than Summer, or is it that other players are stepping up their game? |

There are more overall shows this Fall than Summer, so I guess its a combination of others being more aggressive and Crunchy not being willing to pay the license fees for many. |

Ignore my previous guess, it's probably wrong. Now I'm finding that whatever it is will stream on Wednesdays. The method I used to find this isn't 100% either, but it's more accurate than my previous one. My searches are also saying no to Medaka Box and Chu2koi (for today's first announcement), so whatever it is will most likely be delayed.
That being said, I do hope my previous guess is correct (without a delay, of course). Edit: Maybe my first guess (Magi) was right after all. It could be a Wednesday delaycast like Ao no Exorcist. |

Agreed, much less than spring and summer seasons unless they're waiting to release a whole bunch of sub licenses. I don't seem to have that much to watch this fall which is OK as I am still reading all the manga and light novels from my favorite spring and summer shows... |
