Because it premieres October 6 at 1 AM in Japan, which is a bit over 18 hours from when I posted this edit. I suspect they actually meant to list it as starting October 5 at that time. Keep in mind Funimation could have already licensed titles, but is holding off until NYCC in about a week to announce them. Given that they sometime take 2-3 weeks after a series premieres to start the simulcast, there isn't much push for them to announce now (with the possible exception of Jormungand Perfect Order, which they are already confirmed to have licensed).

More corroboration is that the four series Sentai series sublicensed to Crunchyroll were announced on Tuesday to be streaming for free at TAN starting in November. So the TAN exclusive streams we know about this season are for members after episode 1, and the streams shared by Cruncnyroll and TAN are free streaming at TAN on a one month delay. So looks like TAN will have four exclusive and four shared.

For those in the UK, Anime on Demand also has the first episode available: http://www.anime-on-demand.com/index.php?option=com_vodvideo&view=playlist&Itemid=402&playlistId=61 Regarding To Love Ru Darkness, and TAN's scheduled simulcast for tonight, I pointed out in their forum that it was before it aired in Japan, and an administrator there replied: Nah, the hours are right, are you adjusting for Japan Time? Our simulcast will go out as planned, as we have had our release dates and hours approved by the licensors. Thanks.
