That's what liking a particular genre is like ~ you don't just like the very best of that kind of show, you like the average of that kind of show as well.

That's not my genre, but I translate it to Science Fiction / Fantasy, and its like of course I loved Ghost in the Shell, Serial Experiments Lain and Scrapped Princess, but I also liked Shangri-La, even though the plot became a bit of a tangled mess halfway through. However I'd only recommend Shangri-La to someone who already likes post-apocalyptic Science Fiction / Fantasy.

However, with three shows (at least) still to be announced, there's every chance that one or two will be a romantic comedy. And the advantage of Crunchyroll's approach of trying to get everything is that everybody knows that they didn't miss out on "their" favorite show because Crunchyroll decided to skip it ... its always because somebody else got the streaming rights, or the production committee decided not to grant an international simulcast streaming license.

CR lists the publisher of Lychee Light Club as Kachidoki Studio so it wouldn't be surprising if CR has Kachidoki Studio's other series this season too (Chiisana Ojisan).

Light Lychee Club seems to be more shorts - but also sounds quite dark and avant-garde, so should make a nice contrast to the rest of the schedule.

Good catch llamaben. I imagine there will be some disappointment if the other box is also a short too. I still think that there is a chance that the last box there is Little Busters! but things are what they are and Fall had a lot of hyped shows that Funimation and TAN would naturally grab for themselves. That does of course mean that they'll get a North American release, but streamed on clearer inferior sites than Crunchyroll.

I am also surprised again that Lychee Light Club wasn't worldwide except for Japan but has the same availability as Teekyu.

Yeah, those that get the sandwiches also get the crumbs, those that don't get the sammies don't even get the crumbs. The audience of the shorts must be really focused on the main 50%+ viewing area of North and South America, Australasia, UK/Erie, the Nordic Countries and South Africa.

And this one really surprised me. Aoi Sekai no Chushin de
http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2012/10/12-1/crunchyroll-adds-aoi-sekai-no-chushin-de-to-fall-anime-lineup

The new announcements at Crunchyroll just keep rolling along, and this time CR has scored a doozy with Aoi Sekai no Chushin De, a twisted anime take on the Nintendo vs. Sega console wars based on the manga by Anastasia Shestakova and illustrated by Crimson.

Aoi Sekai no Chushin De is set to broadcast on Saturday starting on October 20, at 7:00 a.m. Pacific Time for premium members.

Aoi Sekai no Chushin De will be available to worldwide audiences except for Japan.

Availability is great though(even though I think it has a release schedule of an episode per season?)

Was hoping for Jojo or LB!.

With the rate of how much CR disappointed me this season, I bet the last anime will be Aikatsu or something.

It surprised me as well, as I didn't expect this one to be simulcast by anyone, although if it was going to be, Crunchyroll was the obvious home. (With the exception of Hetalia, I can't recall anyone else simulcasting "less traditional" series, such as the short form anime or series air on a less than weekly schedule).

Perhaps the only simulcast that would be more surprising to me would be Initial D Fifth Stage.

Availability is great though(even though I think it has a release schedule of an episode per season?)

Both Countdown and FansubDB agree that it is only one episode per season (Countdown more specifically states one every 3 months), and a total of only 3 episodes. Given that, just as with the 3 minutes short form anime, it could be counted as "0.1" when totaling the number of series per season

I await the inevitable "So when is CR go to post the next episode?" questions a week after this season's episode goes up.

Ebiten, It's on TV there right or is this a catalog thing. Nico Nico streamed it in the summer right.

Another one. US, Canada, South Africa only. Sounds like it's already finished (10 Episodes streamed on Nico Nico)
