Fall 2012 anime

Wow, we just began the Summer anime season and now we have all these announced series lol (I've seen most of them announced before, but didn't realize it was this many). Time to start preparing my watch list.
So far I'll be watching: Code;Breaker, Jojo's Bizarre Circus, K, and Zetsuen Tempest. The others I haven't really heard of or still deciding to check them out. Looks like a great season coming though! |

Keep in mind this title was acquired as part of a package of library titles from Kodakawa. It was posted on CR in December 2010, while the series originally aired in fall 2009. When looking at the case of whether CR will get it or not, the fact that CR has the original series really isn't a factor this time. With NicoNico.com apparently out of the simulcast game, however, I would say the odds are rather good. The only real competition would be Funimation (which is expected to step up its simulcast game this fall). Frankly, it TBS would loosen up, this fall would stand a good chance of being the first time that all non-kids series were simulcast. |

Maybe my mind is hazy, but I thought that an Oreimo season 2 would be streaming in the Fall. I also heard that a Wagnaria!! season 3 was announced but I forget if a particular season was announced.

No time period was established for it. No doubt some people put the timing of the announcement (end of March), together with the fact the original series debuted in the fall and concluded that the second series would premiere then. As to a third Working!! (Wagnaria!!) series, I don't recall seeing any announcement of such. You may be remembering this announcement of a new project in development, which turned out to be a stage play. |

Frankly, it TBS would loosen up, this fall would stand a good chance of being the first time that all non-kids series were simulcast. Yeah NicoNico appears to be out of the simulcast game, but Funimation has stated their intention to increase their simulcasts and Fall would be a great time to try and get 8 to 10 simulcasts(They already have one in Jormungand 2) and since I would expect that Fall would have at least 60 new series(and close to 30 have been announced), we don't even have half of the Fall season announced yet. Also, Ebiten from summer not being streamed yet, and Crunchyroll not having a Kadokawa to stream for Summer is quite noticeable. I hope this isn't a sign of even less from Kadokawa in the future(much of what Crunchyroll has streamed from Kadokawa since last Fall have been licensed from Sentai Filmworks. Unlicensed series like Hyouka have only been available through fansubs. I was not aware of the first season being part of a package of library titles from Kadokawa. I suppose I shouldn't be optimistic about it unless Sentai licenses it or somehow there is a return to Kadokawa titles that are unlicensed get a week's delay from "airing". ANN now has an article about Seitokai no Ichizon 2 as well, and looks like the website just opened a few days ago. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2012-07-17/new-seitokai-no-ichizon-anime-to-stream-in-october |

I think your mistaking Fall with Spring. The Fall season usually has around 35-40 series, while Spring has around 50 (including a lot of kids shows). |

You're right that I was thinking that Fall would roughly have the same amount of new series as Spring. Somehow though, we could see more than 40 for Fall could we? Given the announcements today which included a TBS series(although the publisher is listed as Media Factory), I think we could be closer to seeing all the non-children's shows being simulcasted. Maybe TBS will be more amendable in the Fall to more of their Thursday night lineup being simulcasted. |

Shows I'm definately going to watch:
Robotics;Notes Zetsuen no Tempest (been meaning to start this manga, but never have) Suki-tte Ii na yo Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (Bolded just because I'm already reading both mangas; should be a good supplement since both are pretty cute) Shows I'm considering: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Little Busters K Code:Breaker |
