Steins Gate or Time of Eve Steins; Gate is really popular. Spoiler Alert! Clannad is extremely popular and Angel Beats! is still one of the top selling Anime blu-rays. |

I don't think I've ever heard my 2nd all-time favorite anime of all time mentioned before. One Outs. Clearly underrated, and I love the psychological warfare.

I think its fascinating and vibrant. I can't see how one of the highest selling show of all time be underrated? This is sarcasm, I hope! As someone else already mentioned, Steins;Gate is very popular, and when you consider that the next game by the company, Robotics;Notes, was optioned for anime before the game had even gone on the market, it really doesn't qualify. Time of Eve, on the other hand, is a winner in this category. Nightcore34 wrote: angle beats and clannad, i see lots of discussions but i don't reckon these have as much publicity as they should. These two can't qualify as underrated, given their popularity and sales figures. Here is a great graphic that shows anime series in order of BD sales: Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Anything on there really can't be considered underrated. (I was very happy to see Holo from Spice and Wolf walking along right near Taiga from Toradora!) The ones that I don't see on that list that I consider fantastic shows are: Ah! My Goddess! Zakuro Gosick That may be due to lack of BD release for the first two. I really thought Gosick would show up on the list, and perhaps I missed Victorique in the mix, she is quite small after all... |

Big Windup! - yeah, it's a sports anime, but it was good enough that I watched the first four eps on hulu, then bought the rest of the series the next day. Basically, I think this show wasn't as well received because it does have a lot to do with the game of baseball. But for me it was the characters that drew me in. I found myself cheering when they triumphed and sniffling when they didn't. Not too mention, I thought the dub was very good.

Sketchbook ~full colours~ is my second-favorite anime, but it has never really kicked off. It's not even been licensed in America (or anywhere other than Japan, I think).
Anyway, it is the most relaxing and heart-warming anime I have ever watched, in my opinion, and is full of watercolour backgrounds and unique characters. Also, the open theme is wonderful to listen to. I would seriously suggest trying it out sometime when you're tired and stressed, and want to relax. |

It doesn't matter if it's baseball to me. One Outs and Moshidora were also about baseball, but I think Moshidora was better than Big Windup. |
