Time of Eve

Definately a show that makes you think. The premise is that humans now live in a world where robots can be created to greatly resemble humans in both how they look and act. Because of this, these humanoid robots are required to display graphics above their heads to distinguish them as robots.

The main character then stumbles upon a secret cafe where it is not required for robots to display their indicator graphics, making it impossible to tell who is human or who is a robot. The story then delves much deeper as you get to know more about the cafe and its patrons.

Soranowoto- glad to see it mentioned on the thread a few time. Great show, unfortunately came out and used the same character animation as K-on so most people either thought it was a rip off, or they were turned of by the similiar character animation, the background animation is far better.

Kamichu- someone else mentioned it on the thread and that made my day, Great slice of life show, that is mostly unknown.

I'm going to go with Basquash. No one I mention it to has a clue what it is, yet I loved it when it aired.

I still talk fondly of it now, even though its been about four years since it aired.

I have, it's the mecha basketball thingy isn't it ?

Katanagatari - All of the characters are interesting (even the ones who only appear for 1 episode), and the fight scenes are all unique.

True Tears - One of the world's most complicated love polygons (behind ranma 1/2), it actually does love triangles in a respectful way.

Garzey's Wing - want to watch the most hilariously terrible anime in existence? Garzey's wing is the only anime I call both a comedy, and a torture device. I recommend this just because of how brilliantly terrible it is.

Oregairu - or more commonly known as My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU . Seriously, I lot of people scrubbed it off and did NOT even give it a chance because of its title. The show is a great slice of life and has great and serious social commentary from the MC's perspective. The characters are amazing and every episode is captivating where it feels like it reveal some great truth about society every time. If you have time to burn, I'd definitely recommend this one!

And also Full Metal Panic! . The show's first season is all over the place because that was the author's first shot at the novel. I usually find light novels aren't well written in the first series of books, but it gest better later on. However I have to warn you it's pretty much two seasons and the story doesn't end in the anime. Despite that, I'd recommend picking up the light novels afterwards (if you can read Japanese, though there's some translations online) as they totally throw out the high school part and it becomes a well done action, mecha, romance series. If only there was a third season T-T
