Yes I support it.

However, I don't think that a private institution such as a church should be forced to marry people if it doesn't want to, just as any business shouldn't have to serve customers if it doesn't want to.

Telling people what they can and can't do is bad in any context.

Everyone should be granted the freedom to be as happy or as miserable as everyone else. I support gay marriage.

I support it, seeing as I prefer females over males. No saying that I'm a complete lesbian, but pretty damn close to it. I just don't understand why some people have to make such a big deal out of it, it's not like they see what you or anyone else does behind closed doors. People who go on ranting and raving about how gay marriage is repulsive is just damn annoying. That's fine if you don't agree, it's not like I'm going to make a huge deal about who you love and/or sleep with. -_- Okay I'm done, I started rambling x:

It was going to happen anyway, too late to stop any of it.

I think a lot of the gay marriage conflicts spark within adults such as parents who don't want to expose their kids to gay/lesbian environments. I support gay marriage because I believe it is every person's human right to choose whatever sexual orientation they wish to follow, but I can also understand the point of view that many parents have. I personally wouldn't want my children to be gay, and that hope is not meant to be offensive toward people who are not straight.

Then again, as figure_09 has said above, we can't stop it. More and more kids are seeing gay/lesbian activities and being exposed to the concepts and it is slowly (long term wise) coming to acceptance. It's kind of ironic though. Most of my gay/lesbian friends don't want to be gay or lesbian, not because of the image that they perceive of themselves to others, but because they simply don't want to be. They all started off straight but their minds were slowly "corrupted" (word choice by them, not me) by the media and graphic outcomes in life. Some gay people I know in their 20's - 30's say that even though they adopted a kid(s), they don't feel real happiness because he/she does not have their blood.

Who cares though? Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris) is the coolest gay guy ever and he's happily off, so. To each his/her own.

I have nothing to do with what other people choose to do so my vote is by default yes, have several gay friends and I think they should be allowed to do as they like.

Civil Right for all! Why anyone would oppose something that has no bearing on their life is beyond my comprehension.

"Corrupted" wow, your ignorance is astounding.

Eloquently put.

It's not about you.

Opposed.
It's better to tell the truth and be hated for it than to tell a lie and be loved for it.

Why not? If a man and a woman can experience the horrors of marriage, why shouldn't gay people have the same option.
Makes sense to me.

Marriage in general is overrated. Too much stigma on it.
