The answer should be yes! The core belief of Christianity holds that after salvation God lives inside of you. The Holy Spirit resonates with the human mind and spirit to make the person more and more like the perfect God they serve. The result should be greater and greater amounts of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness gentleness and self control. So if someone is a Christian and they arent kind there is 2 options. 1. They are really Christian (or rather pretend to avoid conflict) or 2. They arent "there" yet and they need some more time to work it out with Jesus.

As long as you believe in god, go to church every sunday, read the bible, and go to heaven, yes they're nice.

Im a christian and i promise you i dont feel guilty about living. i live every single day to the extreme. To answer everybody's question, i be nice to everybody else if there nice back. i probably wont be nice to this guy cause he seems like a 100% bonafied DOUCHEBAG. you say christians are always judging but look at you instantly judging all christians cause you probably met one in your life you didnt like. |

Their are people who are just nice people religous or not. But to say you are nicer person because you are Religous, I do not like when people say that. I feel like they are not telling me the truth and they are a mean person. I believe if you are a nice person then religion would not have a say in it. Also if you are not a nice person religion would not have a say in it. I am not religous was a one time, but long story, and I am nice to people, who respect others.

no. why would religion dictate how friendly someone is? unless your religion is some "f**k the world and humanity" kind of thing, i don't see how that would matter.

Ichigo wrote: Christians are often led to believe that they themselves are guilty for living. So they will do good things within reason. A better try somewhat but not quite. I feel guilty about living at all In fact if I do feel guilty I'd live a better life to make up for it. Doing good things within reason is also inaccurate. I do good things and bad things. None of which have to be within reason. |

It depends on the person. I've met people who are hardcore christian and they have never stopped talking about god and how he is good and then I have met people who are not so hardcore and both are nice. The faith is an influence on their morals but generally people are nice and some not so. It happens to be that religion creates some of the largest hypocrites out there as well. "Love everyone?" yeah there is no way anybody can do that unless they have been thoroughly brainwashed. Or how about you shouldn't judge others just based on appearance? Pfft. Yeah like everyone can stop judging, we are practically made for judging others and there is no way around that. There are pros and cons to everything but religion just happens to be, in my opinion, not helpful. It's there for guidance and answers but life is more than a one step answer.
