I was walking on the city with my really close girl cousin one time.. (well, we always do that) but one time one of my friends saw us and they were like "wow..your holding hands".. then later on as i try to think about it over...

did they misunderstood us??

soo i was wondering what people think when they found two girls holding hands like esp teenage ones.

In today's society, I recon it's easier to mistake people for being gay because of that. Though honestly, girls have been doing the hand holding thing for a very long time before such came out, so to speak. Girls have, for a long time, been friends and done such. It's just taken differently now due to the spotlight on being gay and is often misunderstood as such.

I don't care. It can be a beautiful thing, a cute thing or totally trivial. It's up to the girls if they want to hold hands. It's not like I have any right or will to judge them.

That the Christian morals implanted in the school systems are failing and therefore we need to remove sex education and replace it with fear campaigns about homosexuality and abstinence without giving any true information to anyone.

Anyway, most people would probably look at it these days and say that those two were lesbians. Me personally, I wouldn't give a damn about it. Either the two of them are lesbians or just good friends/relatives. I mean, you'd never look at a teenage girl and a ten year old girl holding hands as a pedophile couple, would you.

I'd assume you're a lesbian couple.

You may be looking for comfort and excuses for doing something that's by no means wrong. But unfortunately that's what most people who don't know you will think.

Those people misunderstood there's nothing wrong with that like LynnTerra said girls have been doing that for a long time. Peoples minds have just become warped into thinking that such stuff like holding hands and even hugging is being gay when obviously its not.

Nothing wrong with that.. It's actually normal for me. What I found weird were the people that gave that reaction.

Don't you also have a warped mind for assuming that we consider homosexuality a bad thing?

This is a topic? lol. Do people really care so much about such a little thing? If so that's rather sad, don't know why people care so much about what others do waste their time judging others like that

I find nothing wrong with girls holding hands or guys holding hands, it's no different when I held my friend's hand in kindergarten. But nowadays I can't hive a friendly hug to one of my girlfriends when we met up somewhere with people just staring and whispering.
How I feel about it, I personally don't care, it's how you interact with your friends or family and if you hold hands, you hold hands.

A lot of people consider it to be a bad thing, you should really be questioning why is that. My mind is not warped thats just how most people think...probably

Maybe older generations do, but most younger generations couldn't care less. Maybe in school a lot of homosexuals are picked on, but once bullies reach adulthood they receive a nice slap in the face, which comes with a couple of lessons.
