I brush my teeth, strip down to just my cargo pants, and masturbate at least once. If I do those three things, I fall asleep within 5 minutes.

Yup.

You must be a cat.

I'm one of those who I needs it pitch black. I go over what I have to do the next day in my head. Particularly the first thing of the day. This helps me get going in the morning when I tend to be a zombie.

Alright, now that that's outta the way we can continue. Do you guys have any weird bedtime rituals that have to be done before you can finally pass out?

I, for example, watch chiropractic adjustment videos or various other videos like that (eye exams, etc.). Sometimes I don't even watch them, though - I'll just lay down and listen to the doctors/narrators talking about what's happening.

Maybe it's because I like hearing bedtime stories since nobody ever read to me when I was young. I dunno, it's just relaxing and it knocks me right out.

How about yourself?

Are you a very insecure type of person? Maybe you are lonely and have formed paranoia? Your need to be comforted by a soothing voice isn't exactly a regular pre-sleep ritual. Have you just moved out on your own maybe far away from people you're used to being close to?

I brush my teeth and make sure the house is safely locked up and the stove is off, that is normal-ish... Your habit would worry me if you were a friend.

Also, I would ask if you prefer the narrators to be male or female but that's another story and don't want to put you on the spot too much.

To be honest I'm a pretty socially inept person. I prefer to be by myself and on occasions I'll go several days without speaking to anybody or just speaking aloud in general. This does, occasionally, lead to me being lonely but only after I wake up from a pleasant dream with people in it that I do actually miss. I moved out on my own when I was 17 and I'm currently 26. Like I said, I prefer to be away from people.

As far as narrators go, it doesn't matter to me if they're male or female.

Thanks for the reply! ^^;

Brush my teeth (wash hands) & I have to say I Love You to mum & goodnight, wipe my feet before getting in bed. I don't think that any of these are out of the ordinary but it's the fact that I don't do these things out of habit but more like compulsive, like if after doing all that & I suddenly have to use the restroom I have to do everything all over again otherwise it won't sit right with me.

I've said this before on CR, I was crazily shy and awkward once upon a time. So I do understand being a loner. I used to feel that I loved being alone then I found myself on chat forums and realized being alone was just my safety blanket. I guess I didn't really like being alone at all, I just didn't have the ability to act in real life as I did online.

When I moved away from my home and my family is when I was forced into the real world. People accepted me and I realized I was no where near as odd and inadequate as I had always felt.

I wish I had the ability to help people out of their shell. I can't tell you how much I've changed and how great it is to not be afraid anymore.

Good luck with your fight.

close the closet doors? you're afraid that the boogie man will be inside of it or something?

I drink something (usually water), brush my teeth, crawl underneath my comforter, stick a pillow between my legs (I sleep on my side) and move around (to generate heat and to make myself comfortable o.o). After this, I usually either watch anime on my iTouch, read fanfiction, go on twitter or creep around the forums (woops) until my eyelids are heavy, then knock out.

I can't listen to music before going to sleep, because I like using earphones and I tend to roll around when I sleep, and in the morning my mom freaks out because the wire is around my neck... Yeah... lol.

that is how i broke 9 of my headphones

Haha, nah. It's just a habit from when I was young. I close them now because I like to keep the room organized.
Plus, in the small chance that there might be a fly or a bug in my room, I'd rather it not drift into the closet with all my clothes in it.
