I can see...the ending!

The ending to Dusk Maiden of Amnesia was ok. It was meant to be more lighthearted than dark/bittersweet anyway. Anyway I still vote Anohana, ya know once it's streamed here.

I want to say that the moments leading up to the end was the saddest part the part where Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Yuuko is beginning to disappear and so Niiya and Yuuko spend her final moments in the club room talking together. Then she wasn't able to be seen by him anymore, then couldn't be heard and they had to write notes to each other, and then she disappeared altogether <- That was the saddest moment in the whole show this show was awesome, a reason why its my avatar pic |

It does have its sad moments though, that's a fact for sure. Personally though, I would have had it end like... Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide After the final kiss and she disappeared, all that other stuff would happen but instead of her coming back she maybe leaves a memento for him, like her bell. Then it goes into what she said earlier about finding someone else to give his love to (maybe in a time skip sort of thing), which he does but he never forgets her like she thought he would. Also, he keeps the book with him as a keepsake. Of course, all the other (more important) characters are in the time skip as well in some form or another, just to wrap things up. Now, the thing I love about Dusk Maiden is it doesn't do that, which is probably what most people were thinking would happen or something similar. That's also why it's good. Of course, this is only my opinion. |

Click to show or hide Yuuko would disappear forever. Actually I'm glad it got a happy ending, bittersweet endings aren't for me haha. Though somewhere in my mind, I had thought that IF Yuuko did disappear forever at the end of the ep, I would have also been alright if they did a time skip, showing Niiya has moved on with his life though still remembers Yuuko, is married to Kirie and has a daughter named Yuuko (yeah I know that sounds cliche but I seriously thought that would have been a satisfying end lol) |

On a side note though, for me it wouldn't be Kirie it would be someone totally unrelated to the story up until that point and the daughter's name could have a homage to Yuuko's name but it wouldn't be her name. Maybe it'd be something like Ryuuko or something? Heh. Ah... opinions.... |

Scratch my previous post. I just finished this one anime that I believe is the saddest: Erin. I have no idea how many times I've cried, yes I know, I'm such a wuss. If anyone wants to watch it but I gotta say, you might need to have a box of tissue right next to you, if you don't have any, paper towel will do; If not, go out and buy yourself some.

Myself, Yourself had some tear jerking moments to it.
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Such as when the brother and sister run away and Sana tries desperately to say goodbye, when Nanaka remembers exactly what happened the night her house burned down, etc. |
