the part where Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Yuuko is beginning to disappear and so Niiya and Yuuko spend her final moments in the club room talking together. Then she wasn't able to be seen by him anymore, then couldn't be heard and they had to write notes to each other, and then she disappeared altogether <- That was the saddest moment in the whole show

Angel Beats had some sad moments, H2O Footprints in the Sand was sad, and Erin was so sad I have yet to finish the final 4 episodes.

I was just going to say "H20: Footprints in the Sand". But beware....those last few eps are tough. And that very last ep can be traumatizing. Ever since I saw it, every time I hear a train warning signal in anime I twitch a bit at first. And I spent the rest of the night until the wee hours of the morning searching on almost every anime blog or thread I could find on that show to confirm my suspicions on how the show ended and that I wasn't imagining or misinterpreting what I saw at the very end. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see it .

ok i have watched alot of sad animes, likes of angel beats had its mments but the one that gripped me the most for about 3-4 episodes non stop was ----shuffle----
