I've never really noticed blue popsicles...or popsicles for that matter being common in the anime I've watched, I've seen more soft serve ice cream than popsicles in my anime lol

believes that D-Frag and Nisekoi deserve an anime

I've only kinda noticed it in ecchi animes. Is there some sexual meaning behind it?
I do know that blue sometimes is meant to protray youth. And a blue rose is something that is unattainable, or a fantay love.Eating a popsicile is sometimes meant to be suggestive. So take all that into consideration: People who draw young girls/boys eating blue Popsicles are perverts Edit: Even Naruto ate a blue Popsicle. |

Exhaustion Exhilarates Me :D

Popsicles? Like ice lollies? Don't know why the blue colour would have any significance.
As far as I'm concerned, Mr. Bubble ftw. |

They are called "Gari-Gari-Kun", and they've been a popular frozen snack in Japan for decades. The blue colored ones are "soda" flavor, and are one of the original kinds, although they come in a lot of other flavors now.

Probably because it's the weirdest color to go with a flavor, and possibly the hardest dye to make for food products since Smarties had only just reintroduced the color a year or so ago. Blue is also symbolic for trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, etc. Which is probably the message from the Naruto Shippuden opening showing the bond between Jariya and Naruto.
Just an idea. |

I return from the abyss!

Multicolored ice-pops are pretty normal to me so I never even thought much into it.

And here I thought Japan understood the glorious taste of blue-raspberry flavored cold treats. Oh well, the more you know. |
