The second episode was very engaging. I didn't realize 23 minutes passed by so quickly. I never found Japanese history to be interesting but this anime changes my opinion of that. I like how it has a little of everything. There's action, fanservice, romance, comedy and even psychological. I think the strength of this show lies in our main character Sagara. I'm glad to find a character filled with courage to stand up for what he thinks unlike the wimpy ones I've been seeing lately.

He's perfect the way it is. This show is perfect the way it is. I'm totally caught off guard on how much I'm loving this show. Saturday isn't coming fast enough.

you know how they said the objective for an enemy army is to kill the general? well if they faked the monkeys death the opposing side would stop pushing the invasion as much. plus he wouldnt have told everyone to spread out and escape.

goood in story and tale overal to me 8 or 9 but the female protagonist i guess i know wats going on since playing sengoku basara samurai heroes _--- still good 2 me :3

Hoping for a second series, but not expecting it for a while. The ending was subpar compared to the rest of the season, it definately wasnt the show I expected when I started watching it at the begining of the season, instead of being a Sengoku Harlem, it turned into quite a good action series with high tension and some good battle scenes.

Well if the anime did well in Japan, I'm pretty sure that it will get a new season because they already set it up at the very last scene of episode 12

Yep. I agree with both of you. It was good not great. It certainly wasn't what I expected when I started watching. It had a nice balance between action and humor. But the ending, wasn't as good and felt very rushed. Plus, it isn't the end, so we need a second season to see what happens next. I'm really not sure we'll get one.
Overall, I give this 7/10.
