I don't think Make My Day! by Piko is actually the opening like stated in the first post..

Loved the series 10/10! Bring on Season 2!

"Make My Day!" is the opening to Binbougami ga. The actual opening is "Link" by Aimi.

Hoping for a second series, but not expecting it for a while. The ending was subpar compared to the rest of the season, it definately wasnt the show I expected when I started watching it at the begining of the season, instead of being a Sengoku Harlem, it turned into quite a good action series with high tension and some good battle scenes.

I fully agree with ya there bro!

Agreed, bring on a second season!

Per the 2012 anime sales thread at mania.com, the second volume of the series sold a total of 4,465 discs (3685 BD and 780 DVD) for the reporting period of October 1 - 7 (an earlier message show it was released on October 3, so those are 5 days sales). This was also above the numbers reported for the first volume, which showed a reported total of 4053 discs for the 09/10 - 09/16 period.

Those aren't "slam dunk, second season is in the bag" numbers, but they aren't bad.

A "slam dunk, another season is in the bag" (unless the numbers plummet like a rock for future volumes) would be something like Horizon II, which shows first volume sales of 21,956 discs.

One show we know is getting another season, Nyaruko-san, shows 5629 sales for the fourth volume, which is closest to the sales for Nobuna I could find for a recent show that has a second season green-lit. I expect a second season will depend on if disc sales maintain their strength, and the cost of production.

For importing Japanese discs, they are one reliable source. Another one appears to be YesAsia.com, which I discovered while looking for a source for legit Nanoha StrikerS DVDs.

It is usually easy to tell the bootleg sites, because they will sell you the entire series for a fraction of the price of a single legit DVD from Japan. (The Japanese discs for StrikerS at YesAsia are $70 - $83 each [with 9 making up the series], and even the less expensive Taiwan discs with the same number of discs making up the series are $19 - $26 each).

No, I actually just finished watching the entire thing over a sick day I had, and man, I loved the entire series. I really liked the historical switch
between nagasama azai and the gender switch with him and nobuna's lil brother. Very nice twist I didnt see coming.

However, I know EXACTLY who that woman at the end of the season was, and it has got me so excited for the next season (hope hope hope). That was Shingen Takeda! The Tiger of Kai and one of the other great tacticians and generals of this period! Plus, if Shingen Takeda is our villian for the next season, it means we get to witness two great battles: The Battle of Mikatagahara, where shingen defeats (in this series) motoyesu Tokugawa pretty handedly, and then the reverse, the battle of Nagashino, where Nobunaga turns high volumes of rifle-fire into a crushing defeat for the calvery based Takeda.

That all being said, with Monkey in the way, we dont know HOW these battles will turn out, so I'm looking forward to Shingen showing up in season 2!

That last battle, i think Takeda was suppose to be dead by then. But we'll see how everything goes if there is a second season.

to asuna-

i hate to tell you this (possible spoiler) but oda does NOT conquer japan.

oda died before "fully" conquering japan, oda's LT's tokugawa(which tokyo is named after) and another person(can not remember the person) finished the job of conquering/uniting japan after oda's death.
