Actually, Honnoji Temple's already been addressed, as has the rise of the Toyotomi. After all, monkey is Hideyoshi, and they addressed
working on mitsuhide to keep it from comming to pass. and given this shows dislike of killing off characters, we'll see how it goes. but
based on everything, I'm gonna be interested in how they handle Honnoji, if they handle it at all.

That, and Motoyesu isnt really....the ieyasu I kinda picture unifying japan, ya know?

same kinda thing. Your right, Shingen was dead by Nagashino, but seeing as we already made peace between the Takeda and the Uesugi, thus not dealing with kawanakajima or any of that, and the fact that we really dont like killin' people (lookin' at you, Yoshitatsu!) means we might have a slightly more interesting Nagashino in the show!

Funny how it is Nobuna and not Nobunaga.

Oda Nobunaga did indeed die before the conquest of Japan but Nobuna may survive because the reason Nobunaga died was due to the betrayal of Akechi Mitsuhide, not due to natural causes

Has this been taken up for a second season? I cant find any information on it from a casual glance through google, atleast if it doesnt get expanded its got an ending thats acceptable, if not great.

No news on second season - and honestly it's doubtful.

I really did love this show though - such a shame.

I'll be optimistic and say maybe next year we will get an announcement, if a 2nd season is confirmed, since it just came out this summer season
but remember, I'm being optimistic and I'm not sure how well this show did in sales (DVDs or light novels)

Yea, thats what I was expecting. Theres actually a few romance style anime that Im hoping get extended, never been into them before but a couple have just held my attention, say 'i love you' and this one especially. Time to go find some others I guess. Any suggestions?

well, what are the one you have watched so far? other than Say "I Love You"
and would you be ok with older anime from a few years back (2-3 years or so) or only new anime or both?

In terms of general shoujo not alot, obviously theres 'The ambition of oda nobuna' and I believe X/1999 is counted as one. I saw ranma 1/2 when I was younger and started to watch' my little monster' but it feels not quite right for me. I saw fate/zero and subsequently got totally attached to saber throughout fate/staynight even though it wasn't that great objectively. In terms of general anime I love Hunter x Hunter (both versions) , Eva (both old and new versions), redline, FMA (original, havent gotten around to seeing brotherhood yet), gundam wing, kenshin and shaman king. Oh and i grew to adore 'welcome to the NHK' even if the ending made me rage a bit

There are a few I have my eye on, bakemonogatari and nisemonogatari look interesting, I tried total eclipse but got totally put off by the fan service gimp suits, I've been looking up 'shin sekai yori' but young kids arent my thing.

As for age, irrelevant really. Only thing I care about is that the animation and voice acting arent poor, and that I can support the maker for a reasonable amount of money (either through CR or through a reasonable dvd price (not like the 500 quid for a fate/zero set)).

P.S. I also dont care about sub vs dub, I'll watch whichever if its good

then if you haven't watched these already, for romantic comedies I recommend: Toradora, The World God Only Knows, Seitokai no Ichizon, Kokoro Connect, The Pet Girl of Sakurasou, and My Little Monster (these are all on CR)...maybe Angel Beats as well though it is arguable if this is romance at all except for two or so parts in the show but it is still pretty amazing
For romance sci-fi I recommend Steins;Gate
For romance slice of life I recommend Kids on the Slope

Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari are both really good though they are very dialogue based so you might miss some stuff if you aren't paying attention through the first watch (its almost always a recommendation to re-watch it again)

This anime was good. It was enjoyable and I really enjoyed how the story played out.

bring on season 2 of nabunas ambition i hope it gits released some time in spring or soo it was a really good anime

my Fiancee actually got me into watching this and I LOVED IT! It was hilarious! And of course now I have two characters added to my cosplay list. I just wish Nobuna's outfit was less weird..

I'm re-watching this and don't know why I didn't notice before but we get some of the soon to be Ieyasu and Hanzo but.....where's Tadakatsu Honda?
