I resorted to crunchyroll streaming after finishing my DVD collection of bleach (i.e. eight seasons) here in the UK, however the 480p streaming is certainly a degradation in quality to the extent of being unwatchable.

Is there anywhere else I can view bleach in higher quality, legally if possible?

I was already denied access from hulu, although I have no knowledge of this ones video quality.

This is in fact my first viewing of anime streams, over the many years all my purchases have been physical copies, therefore any information is appreciated, bleach has been a somewhat intriguing series, this is also my first shounen series.

either download it, watch it here or buy the dvd's for your region that's the only option you have.

He wanted a legal source, so I'm not sure why you're suggesting torrent sites.

Honestly, I think you'll get used to the 480P streams - it's the highest quality my computer can handle, and I don't find myself suffering because of it.

You won't find any sites that have higher than 480p because the episodes didn't go HD until around episode 230. Maube you DVD was upascaling the DVDs is the reason it looked much better

Yeah, I just checked the Bleach page and you get the option of watching the episodes in 720P and 1080P starting from episode 229. So that's something to look forward to!

My dvd purchases are complete as of now, although it is possible to import the Viz boxsets, which I find to be even more so of a ripoff, whilst incomplete regardless.

I am also discreet in regards to downloads, bleach is suggested to be a popular, and for all I do know the liscensors may have already attempted to sue downloaders.

The streams are certainly more distorted, yet this is not necessarily my concern, you see, the video quality also jumps at moving scenes on my tv, I cannot take this sincerely.

Yes, it was upscalled to1080i, the difference being significant, which is a disappointment as the concept of anime streaming is convenient.

Yes, I have no choice but to watch the crunchyroll streams.

Furthermore, I would appreciate if anyone can answer the following questions:

Are the bleach crunchyroll streams uncut?
Where are bleach episodes 236-265?
Are there any deadlines for the higher quality videos?

Yes they are uncut
They remove episodes when that particular season is airing on tv in the US (most be a streaming rights thing)
Nope no deadlines until CR loses the rights I guess.

CR doesn't remove episodes of bleach. They began simulcasting it at episode 266, and at that time they also posted the first episodes up to a point (can't really remember where they were up to.). from there each week they added the current simulcast episode and also filled in one of the catalog episodes as well. They have continued to do this even after bleach ending and are still adding one each week. So 236 will be up next Tuesday, 237 the following Tuesday, and so on. I do not believe there are any other legal places to stream Bleach. Picture quality would be different at 480p (although not significantly different than a non upscaled DVD as they cannot be any higher resolution,) but the jumping video would not have anything to do with the 480p but rather your transfer rate. I'd just pause it to allow the video to buffer, go fix a drink or something and then come back, or even switch to a lower resolution for smoother playback.
