If lying is protected under the 'freedom of speech' act why not bullying and terrorizing people?

Honestly, Arizona is just one of the U.S.'s worst states. It already has a greedy, fucked up judicial system there. They make a good portion of their money by holding people in jail before any kind of conviction so this is even more insane. Other than that, Arizona's locals are pretty awesome; I don't understand why the people running the state there suck so much.

Could be they have the country of Mexico to the south to contend with and a Federal Government not willing to do their job and protect this country. Unlike your domicile with its "vast" expanse of border to the north where I guess, other than the "Mass"-holes that vacation in your state, Canadians at your border plus the 1 or 2 rad jihadists slipping by are a real problem.

There is cause for concern here re censorship on the Internet. Those zealots won't stop there. The Feds have been eyeing the Net for a long time and their recommendations or wishes are as draconian as Arizona's.

As for trolling: I guess I'll just keep my vacation dollars here in Mizzou and troll for small- or largemouth bass at Lake of the Ozarks instead of Lake Powell. Gas is cheaper here too.

I live in England and someone has been prosecuted for "trolling". Unfortunately, judges are not that up to date with modern times and terminology. (I remember learning one case where a judge did not know what an iPod was). The person accused was just plain bullying and not trolling. This is because the media were so desperate to label internet bullying 'trolling'. I think a lot of law makers and enforcers have made a mix up (Well, where I'm from anyway)

Actually Arizona, much like Florida, has terrible laws because old racist people settle there because the weather is good for their sick and ailing bodies. And being that they're in almost constant pain, they're in even worse moods than a normal old bigot, which one can see is pretty nasty.

I sincerely hope you were trolling and not expressing your actual opinion and lack of information.

Oh bajesus. How is that in ANY way not unconstitutional?
Everyone has the right to free speech.
It does not matter how hateful, ignorant, annoying it could be found.

Good luck enforcing this Arizona.
You're going to have the ACLU and the Federal government on your ass in a SECOND!

Doesn't this make politicians illegal in Arizona? They commonly use electronic devices to sling mud at each other, especially around election time on TV.
And most people find those ADs extremely annoying.

^ This.
Freedom of speech is a double edged blade.
If you can't turn the other cheek or ignore the troll,
Man. The fuck. Up.
I will have fun watching them try to enforce this.
IF it gets passed.

Not trolling. Racism is opportunity knocking on everyone's door, even yours.

Added 7/8: Old racist people: I see you gave everyone in that reference equal representation. I don't know how many different ethnicities of differing social or sexual orientations live in Florida or Arizona that are in that mix but I'm willing to guess more than a handful. It's good to see you meant to include women in that sweeping descriptive statement also, wouldn't want to appear sexist. Opportunity = choices = differing opinions. It's good to have a voice and an opinion. Keep up the good fight in spite of your biases.
