listen, masking your I.P address is easy but no one is untraceable the authorities can still track you. NO-IP, PROXY, SOCKS, OpenVPN, IP Spoofing, TOR and so on does not make you fully anonymous however the chance of getting traced lessens.

I never said it was impossible, I just said that the state of Arizona will need to hire people to do this stuff (hence more wasted tax money), because god only knows the mayor himself has the expertise and time to do this kind of thing.

I'm not sure how they plan to even enforce that. And since people also have different viewpoints on what trolling is, someone may press chargers on a individual just for having a different opinion of theirs. :3

Might as well shut down 4chan while you're at it. That's where the greatest amount of trolls are.

SHUT DOWN 4CHAN?!? WORST.IDEA.EVER. I don't think /b/ would ever let that happen, if it did, it would not go down peacefully.

The law is not about trolling on the internet. It is one of those laws to discourage internet "bullying", one of the most asinine concepts developed. It is lame enough to get riled up about verbal "bullying" in the first place, but to get riled up about it in the form of the internet, is ridiculous. It is simple enough to ignore verbal/internet "bullying", that it is insignificant. Regarding the law, it may not have been intended to be a massive power grab from citizens, but it was anyway. Even if the law had been worded in the correct way to stop internet "bullying", it would still have been overstepping the level of power that the state should have.

p.s. Before anyone gripes about "how if feels to be bullied", I was bullied in school. I was regularly attacked verbally and physically, though not to the extent of physical attacks that some are subjected to when bullied. Verbal attacks are insignificant. Can they hurt emotionally? Sure, but only if you let them.

People with weak self esteem need to avoid the internet... This law came about because of all the preteen - teen suicides that happen due to "internet bullying*. If you have an extreme susceptibility to bee stings... you don't go around poking bee hives do ya? Same thing here... if you are hurt and can't handle 'internet bullying' just get off the goddamn internet. Don't look at it... problem solved.
