Relieved because all the hard work is over XD I usually enter contests, and those are very long and slow, plus my bigger costumes are sometimes painful to wear, or the shoes hurt my feet, or my wigs squeeze my head too much, and I usually have photoshoots all weekend, which are a lot of work, especially in an uncomfortable costume. Plus the whole 'stay up late, wake up early (if you even sleep XD)' is very tiring. Excited because not only does it mean that I can start prepping for my next convention! But also because it means that my awesome photographers will be posting my pictures soon, and I always love seeing those, and of course posting them ERRYWHUR XD

I spend amounts in the dealers room and artist alley, on food, transportation/parking, and sometimes hotels. I like conventions, but my energy level is usually close to zero by the time the con is over.

It's similar to the feeling when you're watching a movie in theaters and you get so into it that when you exit and get back into the hallway again, you're going like wtf? People? Humans? Whaa... Yeah.. Had a great time and all, but it was like a culture shock for some reason when I got out.

ocanimegroup 6032 cr points Send Message: 30 / M Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 3/12/13 Usually exhaustion immediately after the con thanks to late nights and early starts (and alcohol), after a recovery day it's more or less a bit of a letdown going from a weekend spent among fellow otaku to the real world that tends to last a couple days. But then again after a con, I'm already planning for the next one and planning new cosplays as well :p
