As long as their not saggy big I like them. A good example of that is the Eiken image too actually.
I'd say Nami is as big as I'll go just as long as their not sagging. :) |

The great thing about anime is that it isn't bound by the burden of trying to resemble actual human proportions like western anime. Chibi forms, exaggerated facial expressions, cat girls, guys with amazingly large chins, and all other anatomical exaggerations are part of what makes anime so unique and so endearing. I don't think it's fair to expect breast to be any different just because our western sensibilities are uncomfortable with the notion of a pair of melon sized, jiggly masses that represent a part of the female anatomy we find to be sexually stimulating. If, as an audience we're going to complain about how the large breast of said character-chan are too large to exist in real life we should also be pointing out how it's impossible for animals to pop out of mechanical balls, how a boy could never get super powers by drinking someone's breast milk, how souls could never change into a tangible weapon, and how there is absolutely no way that the human body can hold fifty thousand gallons of blood. If your a true anime fan your going to embrace the genre with all it's madness for what it really is, an art form that allows it's creators the artistic freedom of not being bound to the realm of possibility.

While I agree with the post above me, personally I have never been a fan of the enormous breast. However I understand it comes with the teritory. It's one of the trademarks of anime that have been around for years now and it wont be changing.

Divergence Eve is the show that really defines the term "rocket breast". They are not only large, but very pointed. You get the feeling that a person could be hurt if you accidentally run into them.

At this point, the triple B factor (big bouncy boobies) is so prevalent in anime that it's almost like asking if you think the extra large eyes detract from or make anime better. Even in shows that don't go overboard on the boob factor usually have the obligatory breast size comparison among the girl characters ^_^

I personally don't mind big breasts, although I don't particularly like them. But sometimes, they are used to 'define' a character. something that gives shape to the character so that it's easier for you to identify or remember them.
But the picture that TC posted, that really grossed me out big time, and I consider myself a healthy teenage boy. |

Marry me. "LAWL" All kidding aside, that's one of the best written retorts that I've ever read on this forum and probably on the subject matter of Anime. Truly, that's something quite humbling. For that, I want to thank you for reminding me some aspects of Anime that I've forgotten over the years. I'll take that paragraph with a grain of salt and try to enjoy some my shows more. |

This is a pet peeve of mine. So the anwser of course is a yes. I don't understand the need to make them not fit the body of the character... then again fan service rules. Logic need not apply i guess. *shrug*
